FOCUS Alternative Learning Center
Bible text
I am 20 (unlike in the above photo), a college student at Central Connecticut State University majoring in accounting. I have a part-time job at FOCUS Alternative Learning Center coaching autistic kids; I started there years ago as a camper and worked my way up to CIT, to intern, and now this is my first year as a paid staff member. Currently, I live in Windsor, CT, with my mom and dad and three cats. My current hope is to have a book on autism to my name, and I actually have a rough draft saved onto my computer.
I have enormous interests in bowling, chess, and video games. I'm in a bowling league every Saturday morning at Bradley Bowl in Windsor Locks. I own a Gamecube, Playstation2, and X-Box, though the Gamecube is easily my favorite of the three (I'm also happy to say that I own all three versions of Soul Calibur 2). I also enjoy reality TV, particularly Survivor, The Amazing Race, and The Apprentice.

For links to Survivor and The Amazing Race information, go to my links page on the sidebar.
Family: I am the one and only child of my mom, Heidi, and dad, Hyter. Hyter has a sister, Sandra, living in Virginia with her husband Bert and kids Matt and Danny. Heidi has three sisters, Polly, Becca, and Gretchen. Polly lives next door to her mother's (and the other three's mother's) original house with her husband Bud. Becca lives with just her cat now that her husband Bob is dead. Gretchen, the only one living out of state, lives in Rhode Island with her husband Eric and kids Elias, Nathanael, and Elsa. The sisters' mother, Beverly, is currently in a nursing home trying to recover from health problems.

Friends: My best friend is Geoffrey Barans, a high school sophomore who attends FOCUS with me and visits my house every Saturday to enjoy my video games. Also in my circle of friends are the four original members of my high school Social Club: Justin, Heather, Kate, and Alex.
