| Comparing my age to my grade level leads many people to believe that I skipped a grade somewhere. In a bizarre manner, I did skip: preschool to first grade. However, that was balanced out by the fact that I had been in kindergarten before and was moved back for the rest of the year before going straight to first grade. In fifth grade, my teacher accused me at a PTA (which I did not attend) of using my autism as an excuse. This was a rather bizarre accusation since I didn't even know about the autism until seventh grade! I got my X-Box through a trade. I've been suspended from school only once, due to a severe misunderstanding with a teacher who mistook a sudden pull-back of the arm by another student with me repeatedly slapping the kid. |
