At the beginning of April I was able to go back to Sydney for two weeks. Elisa also had this time off and was able to have holidays too. It was a very busy time of meeting up with family and friends.
On April 9th my brother Tim married his beautiful fiance (now wife) Kerryn. I had the honour and privelege of being a groomsman at the wedding. The day before that, Elisa's sister (also Kerryn) was married also. So we had two weddings in two days - and both brides were Kerryn. There were some very confusing conversations about "Kerryn's wedding!"
I was also able to meet up with Ross and Jernny Bramley's Home Group while I was in Sydney. I would like to thank you guys so much for your prayers and letters of support.
All in all the two weeks flew by and in no time I was saying goodbye again to Elisa as she flew east over the Pacific to join up with the ship, and I flew west to Perth. I guess it is back to letters, emails and phone calls for the next 10 months or so. :-(
