| As they were headed toward the exit, they noticed a samll group of girls that looked really excited. "I wonder what is going on?" Jess asked. "Only one way to find out!" Cassie said. They hurried over to the group and Cassie tapped a young girl on the shoulder. "Yeah?" the girl said. "Yes, can you please tell me why all of these girls are here?" Cassie asked. "You mean you don't know?!" the girl asked shocked. "Uh....no, we just flew in,"Jess said. "The Backstreet Boys are going to be here any second!" Cassie and Jess just looked at each other and began to jump up and down. "Wait ,wait,wait!" Cassie yelled, "We need to act like mature adults here. I mean, look at these girls, they are like 12 years old! We are 18, the guys are bound to notice us and we don't need to be acting like a bunch of teenyboppers when they do." "Yeah, your right, "Jess said, "Let's stay calm and when they come out, we will politely ask for their autographs." "Ok, now which CDs do we want signed?" Cassie asked getting out the Backstreet suit case. "Uh, how bout Black and Blue, it's the newest," Jess replied. She got out both copies of Black and Blue and closed the case. Just then a girl yelled, "There they are!" They looked up to see Kevin's tall figure coming toward the group of girls with four large men in front of him. The men, probably security, crowded around the girls and told them to stay behind the ropes they were now putting up. Cassie and Jess were the furthest away from where the guys were coming out but they also weren't as much crowded. The other guys made their way over and began signing autographs. "Oh my Lord, there's Nick..."Jess said looking at him signing a poster for a little girl. Just then he looked up and was looking toward her and Cassie. "Jess, oh my God, is he looking at us?" Cassie asked. "I dont know," Jess said and smiled. He smiled back. "Oh my God, did he just smile at us?" They both just looked like they were gonna pop but held it in. They had to keep calm. They looked back at Nick and noticed him walking toward them. The next thing they knew, he was right in front of Jess. "Hi,"he said with that Carter grin. (AN: YOU KNOW THE GRIN IM TALKING ABOUT!) "Hi,"Jess replied not knowing what else to say. Cassie nudged her and gave her the CDs, "Uh...could you sign these for us?" Jess asked. "Of course, what's your names?" "Im Jess and this is Cassie." He signed them and gave them back. "I couldn't help but notice you two and I thought, 'A Couple of older fans, thats a change!' And I wanted to meet you guys." He said. "Yep, were are certainly fans!" Cassie said knowing Jess was still in her daze. "I see you have luggage, are you coming or going?"he asked. "Just got here,"Jess said finally able to speak,"We are spending the summer with my aunt." "You will love Florida!" he said. Just then they heard,"Yo Frack!" Cassie about lost it when Brian walked over. "Thought you got pulled into that zoo man," he said, "Whatcha doin?" "I was talking to these two lovely ladies, Frick, this is Jess and Cassie." Brian shook their hands and asked,"Can I sign those CDs for you?" "Only if you can get the other guys to sign them too, "Cassie said. "Course!" Brian yelled, "Hey fellas!" The rest of the guys came over and signed the CDs. "Thanks guys, "Jess said. "No prob, "said Kevin,"Thanks for not screaming and crying!" he whispered. Jess laughed. Just then a woman yelled at the boys to leave. The fans were beginning to crowd around them again. "It was nice meeting you, "Howie said and walked away. Kevin and AJ hugged them as well as a couple of 12 year olds and left. Brian gave them a hug and said,"Good bye beautiful girls!" in a french accent and left winking. "Hope we see you around,"Nick said hugging Jess. He hugged Cassie and ran toward the guys but not without one final wave and a wink. "Oh...my...God..." Jess said. "Right back at ya!" Cassie said watching them drive away, "Did Nick Carter just tell you 'hope to see you around' and did Brian Littrell just call us beautiful girls?" They looked at each other and began screaming and jumping up and down. People were looking at them weird so they tried to calm down. "We have to get to Aunt Meg's house and tell her!" Jess said. She was right, this would be a summer they wouldn't forget. ********** The whole way to Jess's aunt's house, she and Cassie could not settle down. The driver thought they were nuts. When he pulled up to the house, he helped them get their bags and Jess threw the money at him yelling, "Thanks!" and then ran to the door. "Meg?" she yelled,"Are ya home?" They heared footsteps coming down the stairs. "Jessica? Is that you? Oh my gosh look at you!! The last time I saw you, you were about 2 feet tall now look!" She said hugging me. "Meg...you saw me last year," Jess said. "But you have grown since then! How tall are you?" "Im 5'9," She smiled and finally noticed Cassie. "And you must be Cassie," she said shaking her hand. "Yep! Thank you so so much for letting us come and stay with you!" Cassie said huggin her. "Wow, it's not that big of deal, but your very welcome!!" Meg said. "No Meg, we really thank you, otherwise, what happend at the airport wouldn't have happend!" Jess said with a huge smaile. "What happend?" she asked. "We met the Backstreet Boys!" they both yelled. Meg just happend to be one of the 40 year olds who really loved the BSB and her face lit up like the sun on a summer day. "You mean my boys?!" she asked. "Yes!" Jess yelled. "Well Ill be...I wish I had come and picked you up! But I am sure you will like the reason why I didn't," she said. |
