| *****Jess's Point of View***** "Why was that?" I asked. "Follow me," she said leading us through the kitchen and to a door that led to the garage. "Close your eyes," we did. She opened the door and we opened our eyes. "Holy crap you have a convertible!" I yelled. "Nope, I dont, you do!" she said. "What?" Cassie asked. "This is your car for the summer. Its all fixed and ready to go!" "OH my gosh you are my favorite aunt!" I said hugging her. "And your my favorite friends aunt!" Cassie said. We laughed. "Now why don't you girls go take a drive and I will take your things to your rooms. Here is some money..." I cut her off,"No Meg! We have money, you gave us a car! That is enough!" I closed her hand and put it to her side. She sighed and said,"Well, ok. Now take off, I can't really direct you anywhere so just drive around till you find what you are looking for. There is a McDonalds down the street and you turn left and go about 8 blocks, if your hungry. Oops, almost forgot, here are your keys." "Thanks Meg," I said. We got in the car and Meg yelled, "Have a good time!" "Bye!" Cassie yelled and we waved. "Hey Cass, check the glove compartment for CDs, thats where she usually keeps them." Cassie opened it and said excitedly,"Yes! Our men!" She said waving the BSB cd in my face. "Pop that in babe!" I yelled. We put in Millennium and 'Larger Than Life' blared through the speakers. "Whoo!" Cassie yelled. 'All you people cant your see cant you see' We sang the whole way to McDonalds and even going into the restaurant Cassie was still singing. "Lookin at the crowd and I see your body sway come on......Let me see you swaaaayyyyyy" she said swaying her hips. "Boy am I glad this place is empty or I wouldn't know you," I said. As we were checking to see what we wanted, a woman came rushing in, looked around, and ran back out. "OK..."I said. Cassie just shrugged and we went back to ordering our food. We were so engrossed in what we were doing, we didn't hear the five people come in behind us. But then I heard, "Jess?" We turned around to see none other than...... "Nick!" I said. Cassie and I just lit up. "Hey girls, whatdya doin here?" asked Brian. "Um..they were probably going to eat Bri...this is a restaurant!" AJ siad. "Shut up AJ," Brian said. Cassie and I ended up getting a cheesburger and small frys each along with Dr.Pepper. We waited for our food and the guys ordered theirs. "Im gonna use the restroom quick," Cassie told me. She left and our food was ready. I took it and sat down feeling awkward now with these five guys. They all pretended to scramble to the seat next to me and Nick won, which made me happy! Everyone sat down and Brian sat at the end leaving a spot for Cassie next to him. When she came back, she saw the seating arrangement and gladly sat down. "So, aren't you guys afraid of fans finding you here?" Cassie asked. Brian had found his way to her frys and she was gladly letting him eat them. "Not really. Well, we were but did you see that woman run in here and run out?" Kevin asked. We nodded. "Well, that was a mother of some fans that were chasing us. She didn't see us so the pack has moved on. They won't check here again for another.." Kev looked at his watch, "hour or two." Cassie and I laughed at the way Kevin knew what the fans were thinking and did. "So..."Brian started, "tell us about yourselves." "Well," Cassie started,"Im 19, I live in Indiana with my dad and mom. I have one dog named Maggie, I finished high school last year and Im not sure what college I wanna go to." "Very good, "Brian said. "How bout you Jess?" Nick asked. "Ok, everything the same as her except I live with my mom, dad, an older brother and younger sister, and my dog's name is Kaos." She said looking at Nick. He laughed," and no, i did not name it after you, Nick, he's just really kaos!" "Cool," Nick said and grabbed my hand but not letting anyone see. I smiled shyly and he smiled back. "So what are you guys doing back in Florida?" Cassie asked. "Well, we are having all of our work done here in Orlando close to home for the whole summer," Howie said. "Really? That's awesome!" I said. "It's great," said Nick, "and we even got this first week totally off, no work!" We talked for a little while more when Kevin said, "Ok, tiem to go!" We all cleaned up and walked out to the parking lot. I managed to get Nick's hat from him and he was chasing me around the parking lot for it. "You know I will get it back eventually," he said backing me into a corner. "Uh oh..oops,"I said now knowing I was stuck. He gave me an evil grin and ran at me. The next thing I knew, I was on the ground being tickled to death. "Ahh! Nick...please...stop!!!!" I said between laughs,"ahhh!" I yelled but then he flung me over his shoulder and we went back to the group. "Nick put me down!" I yelled as we were walking. "Oh ok," he put me down and grabbed my hand. I took his hat again and put it on my head. He just smiled and shook his head. |
