Author Notes: This is my second story in my series.  This is a type of story I think every Farscape writer writes at least once.  Since I made Aeryn a scientist for some of the story, she is sort of out of character.

Summary: Aeryn is sent to Earth to Find Crichton, but has no memory of who she really is.

Disclaimer: I do not own Farscape or it's characters.

Where Am I: The Date
Aeryn woke up in a bed that had green sheets, matching pillowcases, and quilt.  Her hair was about 2 inches shorter than she wore it on Moya, and she wore a purple t-shirt along with gray pair of sweat pants.  She looked around the room and saw clothing on the floor, which looked like nothing she wore on Moya, books, papers, a phone, pictures, and a few folders.  Aeryn did not remember that she was put on Earth by an alien god, and that she was to find Crichton and bring him back.  Nor did she remember John Crichton as an ex-peacekeeper, but as Daisy best friend since they were 3 years old.  So after she lied in bed for ten minutes she got up and started to get ready for work.  She first went and took a shower, then from there picked out her outfit for her day at the office.  Which were a knee length navy blue shirt and a matching short sleeve blouse with black pumps.  She put her hair up in a French bun and Called Daisy for lunch, since her and DK were back from their honeymoon after two weeks and were now putting their house in order.

"Daisy, It me Aeryn," Aeryn said picking up her last two folders.

"Hey, Aeryn what up...You didn't burn down our house did you," Daisy said joking.

"No I wanted to know if you could meet me for lunch, and besides now that you are married this is not our house," Aeryn corrected her as Daisy just started to laugh since she loved when people reminder her of that fact.

"I Know, sure what about noon, if you don't have an experiment that needs your attention," Daisy said.

"No, today is mostly paper work, so I'll see you at Jake's Caf then," Aeryn said moving to leave.

"Ok, I want to talk about someone I think is perfect for you," Daisy said as Aeryn tried to ignore her.

"Goodbye Daisy and give DK my love," Aeryn said hanging up.

That was Daisy always trying to get her date some guy she barely knew, but she still loved her.  Aeryn had this feeling that something wasn't right, that she wasn't suppose to be here.  This felt all strange to her, something or something was missing she just didnt know what.

Jake's caf was not the most expensive place to eat or the best place for a top scientist to go.  It had stools at the counter, tables with chairs, and benches.  Daisy and Aeryn still was trying to figure out where caf come in picture when they named this place.  She was still trying to think of what was wrong, what was she forgetting, and who was she forgetting.

"Aeryn," Daisy said coming to sit by her as Aeryn smiled at the sound of her friend's voice.

"Hey, so how is married life," Aeryn asked taking a drink of the water she ordered.

"Fine, how is the single life, Daisy asked while giving an evil smiling.

"No way, who ever it is NO," Aeryn said making it very clear.

"But you'll love him, he smart, funny, most girls find him cute..." Daisy said.

Then what wrong with him that no one wants him, Aeryn asked interrupting her.

"He sad he just won't date anyone, but if I get him a date you two can go with DK and me," Daisy said.

"So who is this Mr. Dark and Depressed," Aeryn asked and Daisy paused for a moment.

"Well, Daisy said.

Daisy what is his name," Aeryn asked once again.

"It's my brother...John," Daisy said in a small voice and Aeryn was about to say no again, but saw how important it was to her.

"One date, and then you'll leave me alone," Aeryn said.

Daisy smiled, she knew she had at least gotten one of them to go.  DK thought it was a great idea John has always thought she was cute.  Besides John needed a break and this will give him one, but still DK was a little skeptical about it.  He kept saying we should not push him it was hard those 3 months.  But Aeryn would be different they both were into the same field of work, she had even helped with the Farscape1 module.

"Yes, only one date...now lets order I'm so hungry," she said moving to read the menu.

Me totell me about you honeymoon, Aeryn asked.

Crichton had tried to get back in his normal life, but still thought about those dreams.  Aeryn was the main thought on his mind.  He's kissed her only a few times, but each kiss was unforgettable.  Her raven black hair, her gray-blue eyes, and her sweet voice are what he remembered when he thought of Aeryn Sun, but he couldn't put an exact face to her.  But then again they were only dreams, he thought as he did ten more push-ups.  Then he thought about what Daisy had said, he did need to go out and meet people and her friend Aeryn was cute.  He did like the fact she was also a scientist it would help in their conversation, but then it could also hurt it also.  It just every time he gets involved with another scientist it always ends badly.  He couldnt name on one hand how many other scientist woman he had dated, but broke up with because they were in the same career.  DK had walked in to see Crichton exercising for the third time today and was starting to become real worried.

"John, you exercise when you get up and before you go to bed and I can understand that, but why were exercising at noon," DK asked concerned.

"It what I do when I want to think or I'm stressed, Crichton said getting up from doing his push-ups.

"So I heard you going to dinner with us... as Dr. Aeryn's Sun Date.  You know about those dreams you had, you may have this huge crush on her and used her name," DK said getting them both water.

Crichton gave him a back-off look and DK followed it without hesitation.  It was no secret between his family that he had those dreams and that he had the name Aeryn Sun kind of through them off.  But to Daisy it only gave her the idea of setting them up for a date.

"So what are going to ware," DK asked trying to find something to talk about.

"Pair of jeans and t-shirt why," Crichton said waiting for DK's reaction.

"No you are not, if Daisy catches in that she'll..." DK said.

"She'll what...kill you, yea I know...and besides it was a joke, you know hahaha," Crichton said smiling.

DK just through a towel at him and sat down on his couch.  DK just smiled at his friend who had seemed to lighten up, but there was still something bothering him he could tell.  He knew that Crichton didnt like to date other scientist but Aeryn was different, theyd known her since they were children.

"Hey DK, why'd you care what I wore," Crichton asked a little curious.

"I don't, but Daisy ask me to ask so she could know what kind of outfit to ware since we are choosing the place," DK said watching the TV.

John didn't really know what to do, he wanted to be the normal John Crichton for his family and friends, but images of his dream came to him.  He remembered when he first met D'argo, how he thought he was going to kill him, how Aeryn kick his butt when they first met, and when he told Aeryn she could be more and she left with them.  Everyone told him these were dreams he had while having amnesia, he made them up to make himself feel better, but as he looked back on these dreams they seemed more like memories, he just something was blocking their faces.

"So, it dinner and then to a club, then we come back here since Daisy wont allow any one over yet," Crichton said.

"Yea, that sounds like a plan, and Daisy wants you to come over when we got the place all set up, she won't even let Aeryn come over to help and they're best friends," DK said explaining his wife actions.

"Don't need to explain, remember she's my sister, she used to through me out of the house when she would clean or was that so you could sneak in and make out with her," Crichton said with a smile.

"Funny, you know we only dated for a few months before we told you," DK said.

Before you told me, Crichton said as he gave DK a look.

"Ok, before you found us kissing in her room, and besides you came home early it was your own fault," DK said defending himself.

Crichton laughed at his friend's logic and they once again argued over the fact he's been dating his sister and not tell.  Crichton still wondered how he came up with that.  It was his house and it wasnt his fault he probably wouldnt even of caught them if he had heard them in her room.

"Yea, well I won't wait nearly over eight years to ask a girl to marry me," Crichton said.

"It was not over eight years...we broke up for a while, so technically we dated her two last years of high school, then we were broke up, then I stared to date her again 3 years ago.  I still can't believe we broke up because she went to a different college, DK said.

Your fault not mineand technically I still think those years apart count since neither of you date anyone else, Crichton said smiling.

"Well I have to go, so I'll see you later," DK said.

She was looking in her closet for something to ware, it had to be a little dressy, but still be able to move since Daisy said they were more and likely going dancing after dinner.  She found a purple dress she had not worn it in almost a year and hoped it still fit.  She put it on and she didn't like it...it was not a first date kind of outfit.  She went through the closet once again.  She found a black skirt that came shorter than most her business suits and was more lose then the purple one.  Then she found a silky material shirt that had spaghetti straps and matching shirt to go over it.  She wore the pumps she wore to work that day and chose to curl her hair and ware it down.  She had light make-up on and a silver cross necklace.  She looked at her self and decided she was ready and was happy she wore a second shirt because it was cool out.  But if it got to hot in the restaurant she always could take the shirts off.

Crichton also was having trouble finding what to ware, he knew he had to look good or Daisy would be upset and he thought of poor DK.  Aeryn Sun was Daisy best friend for as long as John could remember.  She was smart, beautiful, and had a mind of her own and he had to admit he liked her.  Growing up he always like the Daisys slumber parties, so he could look at Aeryn in her pajamas and to find out DK had only been there to check out his sister.  So he put on a pair of black slakes, along with an off white button up dress shirt and dark blue jacket.  He fixing his hair and made sure his apartment looked fine for when they came over after dinner.  That's when it hit him this would be an easy date, he's known Aeryn all his life, so how hard could this date be.  It would be like four old friends getting together after a few years apart.  He had chosen a restaurant that allowed you to dance while still eating, so he knew that they wouldn't be going to a club.

John was the first to show up, he always been taught to be a few minutes early not late.  He was taken to their table and he took his seat looking around waiting for them to show.  That next thing he knew a very attractive woman with raven black hair and gray-blues eyes walked in.  Her outfit was simple but still made her looked great.  He knew that her face was one he'd seen before, but it was like he was trying to remember but could not.  Of course her face would look familiar this was the girl who he beat at racing in 6th grade.  He thought it was all in his head, that he was just getting nervous and making excuses why he found her attractive.  For a brief moment their eyes meet and he fell for this woman, he had known her his whole life but had not really looked at her until know.

Aeryn saw that she was the second one to show up, and was glad she hated being the last one showing up.  She saw John in there seating at a table waiting and gave a small smile.  He had light brown hair, ice blue eyes, and seemed to have a face that always smiled.  She never lied, shed always found him cute, but he never was interested in her.  She walked in and he got up.  She stood still for one moment, and their eyes locked for what seemed like endless time.  It was like they were speaking to each other with out talking.  They both heard people whispered about them being in love.  Must be an anniversary one couple had said, but he only smiled and she smiled back.  For the truth was they were not a couple they had never been on date until now.  They walked until they were only inches apart and neither broke the stare.

"Hi Dr. Sun you look good," John said letting out his hand.

"Thanks, and so do you Dr. Crichton," Aeryn said excepting it.

Aeryn I think it would be Ok to be on a first name basis since I've know you...forever, John said.

"I agree John," Aeryn said.

They made their way over to the table were he pulled out a chair for her and he took the seat next to hers.  She smiled and they began talking.  He asked about her job and how her life has been since the wedding, and she explained how different it's been since Daisy left.  She asked how he's been since he gained his memories back and he lied saying he was feeling more and more like the old Crichton everyday.  DK and Daisy walked in and saw they were already seated and talking.  For two people who had never dated they touched each a lot and Daisy noted that they were holding hands.

"Hell-O I'm glad you two started off well," Daisy said as they hands pulled apart.

Yes John is a life saver, Aeryn said.

Why, DK said.

"Carol, Aeryns Mom is having a party tomorrow and I'm going as her date," John said.

Which means mom will lessen on my getting married and having kids, Aeryn said smiling.

DK was seeing the John Crichton he came to know and love as a brother, so he just smiled.  Daisy noticed how they talk to each other all night and danced all most every ten minutes.  When Aeryn was in John's arms she felt different she felt safe and warm.  Like the world could not hurt her, like she was the only one there.  His touch was gentle, yet had some sort of strength to it.  She had taken her shirt off, so now she only wore the spaghetti strapped shirt.  The song began to play, it was slow and they began to sway to it.  Her arms were around his neck and his were around her waist.  They were closer than most first dates were, but didn't care.  The song ended and they started back to the table were his sister watched closely.

"I guess you were right Daisy," DK said kissing her hand

"Yea...but aren't they moving a little...fast," Daisy asked.

"Daisy they've known each as longer as we have, maybe it took a little push and time alone to see they had feelings for each other, that what it took us in high school remember," DK said.

He was right, this wasn't one of her friend's mother's sons best friend, this was her brother and her best friend so she stopped worrying and let them have fun.  She even got up and danced a few dances with DK.  Dinner came a little sooner then they had thought and they just started to talk about any and everything they could.  When dinner was done they went back to John's and had a cup of coffee and talked for a while.

Daisy and DK left 20 minutes later but Aeryn chose to stay a little longer, a little to Daisy's dismay.  He brought coffee and they started to talk once again.  He turned up the radio and a song began to play.  He let out his hand and she accepted it.  They began to dance like they did in the restaurant, but somewhat closer since Daisy wasnt watching their every move.  The song the ended and they didnt separated just danced until the next song came on.  He began to move closer to her when she lifted her head.  His lips met her and their dancing stopped but the kiss didnt.

"Aeryn," John said.

I can go if you want me to, Aeryn said.

The strangest feeling came to her, the feeling she had the last few day but ignored it.  It was a feeling that she didnt belong her, that she wasnt suppose to be here.  But the feeling didnt bother her feelings for John, but she couldnt seem to make herself break eye contact with him.  She suddenly felt a little a dizzy while an image started to come to mind.  She was on a ship--she was in a room-- she was dressed in all black.  She was exercising and John was talking while fixing a smaller ship it looked like the Farscape1 Module--she finished and stood up she held up a small bottle, but the image stopped.  She had made no move to leave or go, she was just standing there looking at him and he was doing the same.  Without even thinking he pulled her into a passionate embrace.  The kiss was deepened by their every move and it seem to pull her into it depth.  She could have stopped the kiss if she wanted to, but she didn't want to.  A part of her knew that she would regret it, but another part of her didn't care.  She had no idea what had happen early, maybe it was a dream she had, so she just forgot as she returned John's kiss.  She wrapped her arm around his neck and he wrapped his around her waist.  Neither cared what might happen the next day, only what was happening now.  John pulled away from her and looked her into the eyes.

So what time is Carols party, John asked.

Seven, Aeryn said as John kissed her.

I have the day off, John said starting to take her clothing off.

Good me too, Aeryn said.

Passion, desire, and a need that was they had felt that night, nothing else matter but those simple things.  Daisy wouldnt be happy with them, but neither cared.  Aeryn had no idea what their future would with hold neither one had any idea what would be in store for them, but they knew it would be an adventure.
