Unknowing to them Nikolas was watching them his blood started to boil when he saw her undo his buttons. He watched as her hands moved to his chest. It didn�t escape him that Jason closed his eyes his face showing he liked what she was doing. When Elizabeth bent forward a bit more he heard Jason moan and that was when his anger flared and he busted into the studio.
�Get the hell away from her,� Nikolas said.
�What the hell are you doing,� Jason yelled.
�Elizabeth, you ok,� Nikolas asked.
�What are you doing here,� Elizabeth asked.
�Why is he here? What have you done to her,� Nikolas asked.
�This is not your studio. You don�t belong here. Get out,� Jason said.
�Nikolas, no Nikolas...Nikolas, stop it! Leave him alone,� Elizabeth said.
�What�s wrong with you,� Nikolas asked.
�No, what�s wrong with you? You kick in my door attack Jason,� Elizabeth said.
�Why is he here,� Nikolas asked.
�Because I asked him,� Elizabeth said.
�What do you mean, you asked him? What�s going on? Is he threatening you,� Nikolas asked.
�It�s none of your business why I'm here,� Jason said.
For the first Nikolas actually looked at Jason who pushed him away and button up his shirt. Elizabeth had a worried look on her face. Elizabeth wanted so much to just go over to him but she couldn�t or Nikolas would know something was wrong with him.
�He�s right,� Elizabeth said.
�Elizabeth,� Nikolas said.
�This is my studio. Why would you break in,� Elizabeth asked.
�I was worried about you. Something was wrong the other day when you were looking for Bobbie at the hospital. Then again, later at Kelly�s, I could tell you were hiding something. I wanted to help,� Nikolas said.
�Nikolas, this is not help,� Elizabeth said sternly.
�Yes, it is�telling the truth making you see whatever you think you've got going on with Jason.,� Nikolas said.
�Nikolas,� Elizabeth said.
�He�s using you,� Nikolas said.
�You don�t understand,� Elizabeth said.
�Then explain it to me. Lucky hasn�t even been dead a year�here you are undressing this guy�kissing his chest,� Nikolas said.
Elizabeth and Jason both were starting to understand what was going on here. Nikolas thought they were sleeping together. Jason could see that Elizabeth was covering what she was feeling at that moment. Her eyes showed anger at Nikolas for thinking so low of her. Jason couldn�t believe he was using Lucky to get to her he had no right telling he what to do.
�You're not her guardian you're not the cop and you have no right throwing Lucky�s name around,� Jason said.
�He�s my brother he would want me to tell you what kind of a pig you are for hurting her like this,� Nikolas said.
�Jason�s not hurting me. You are,� Elizabeth said harshly.
The harshness in her tone made both men look at her. Jason felt a pain in his heart knowing how much she loved Lucky how much he was hurting her. He had seen Elizabeth upset but never mad and something told him that he didn�t want to see that either.
�Nikolas, I want you to go,� Elizabeth said angry.
�I'm not leaving you alone with him,� Nikolas said.
�Go,� Elizabeth yelled.
�How sick are you, Jason? She�s your sister�s friend�Lucky died in your building,� Nikolas said.
�She told you to go,� Jason said.
�I've got a better idea how about you go instead,� Nikolas said.
�Nikolas, stop it. I swear, if you touch him again, I will never forgive you,� Elizabeth said.
�Why are you defending him,� Nikolas asked.
Nikolas had to look at her again this time the anger was gone and she was as calm as could be. He could sense something had changed in her. Elizabeth had a plan she knew what she wanted to say. She didn�t want to hurt him but he was leaving her no other choice. She looked at Jason and he understood what she was about to say and gave her a soft smile.
�We're sleeping together�is that what you wanted to hear? Jason�s my boyfriend, and we were just about to make love when you barged in here like the morality police,� Elizabeth said calmly.
�Elizabeth,� Nikolas said.
�Just go Nikolas,� Elizabeth said softly.
�Elizabeth, please,� Nikolas said
�Get out of here,� Elizabeth said. .
�I just,� Nikolas began.
�Get out,� Elizabeth said as she pushes him out the door.
Jason saw her close her eyes then put her attention back at him and his wound. He watched her make sure he was okay tape him back up give him his medicine. Jason lied on the couch as she went over to the sink. He watched her she never let it show the pain she was in. The pain she felt for hurting her friend who only wanted to help her to keep her safe.
�Are you okay,� Jason said.
�Yea,� Elizabeth said calmly.
�No your not,� Jason said.
�Sleep now talk later,� Elizabeth said.
�Elizabeth,� Jason said.
�Sleep Jason when you wake up you can talk to me all you want�as you eat soup,� Elizabeth said.
He smiled at her as she pulled the covers over him and walked away. It didn�t take long for the medicine to kick in as he fell asleep. Nikolas drove as fast as he could to Emily�s she had to know what was going on. Maybe she could talk some sense into Jason. Tell him how wrong it was for taking advantage of Elizabeth or make Elizabeth see what Jason was doing.
�No,� Emily yelled.
�I was there Emily� Elizabeth still grieving Lucky,� Nikolas said.
�I don�t believe Jason would do that,� Emily said.
�Em Jason is taking advantage of Elizabeth, go there ask her,� Nikolas said.
�Fine I�ll go right now,� Emily said.
�I�ll give you a ride,� Nikolas said.
Emily was going to prove him wrong there was no way Jason would do this. Getting in his car they started towards Elizabeth studio. Nikolas understood why she wasn�t speaking to him this was her brother. She loved him she wanted to believe the best in him. But the truth was in Nikolas book he was a pig who was taking advantage of an eight-teen year old woman who was still grieving for her dead boyfriend.
�Maybe you should have told him the truth,� Jason said.
�You suppose to be asleep,� Elizabeth said.
�Can�t,� Jason said.
�Do you think you could trust him�knowing the truth,� Elizabeth said sitting next to him.
�No,� Jason said.
�Then I did the right thing, all that matter is getting you well,� Elizabeth said.
�I don�t want you to sacrifice everything for me,� Jason said.
�Jason I�m not sacrificing anything I�m finding out just who Elizabeth Webber is,� Elizabeth said.
�You don�t need to lie to do that,� Jason said.
�No I don�t but it�s my decision to lie�and my decision to help you,� Elizabeth said.
Jason touched her face with his hands glad that he had made friends with her in August. He leaned forward touching his lips to her forward. Emily watched this in complete shock Nikolas was telling the truth. As Elizabeth unbuttoned his shirt Emily had to look away. How could Jason sleep with Elizabeth, Lucky had been his friend how could he do this. She rushed outside to see Nikolas waiting with a frown.
Audrey knew that Nikolas and Emily could not have speaking the truth but she listened. Emily looked so hurt when she told her that her brother was sleeping with Elizabeth her granddaughter. She listened to what they both swore they saw but couldn�t believe that Elizabeth would do that. That was until she came to the studio and saw Jason asleep on the couch. Jason jerked away at the sound of Audrey voice.
�Elizabeth is barely 18 years old. She hasn�t even gotten over Lucky�s death,� Audrey said.
�Audrey, it�s not what you think,� Jason said.
�How do you even know my granddaughter,� Audrey said.
�I'll get my coat.� Jason said.
�Oh, I was praying Nikolas and Emily were wrong, that somehow I had misunderstood,� Audrey said.
�Emily,� Jason said.
�Elizabeth has had two very rough years. No offense, Jason, but given what you do for a living, I don�t want you anywhere near Elizabeth or this place,� Audrey said.
�Gram, I am not going to let you send Jason away,� Elizabeth said.
Jason knew that she was about to fight someone else for him. He kept hearing Emily�s name over and over Nikolas had gone to her. But why would she believe him unless she came here and they didn�t know it. Elizabeth had gone to the store to start looking at padlock.
�Jason is my friend. I invited him here. You have no right to tell him to leave,� Elizabeth said.
�You're obviously unclear as to the ground rules here,� Audrey said.
�I don�t live by your rules anymore,� Elizabeth said.
�If you believe that, you're very much mistaken,� Audrey said.
�Jason, don�t go,� Elizabeth said softly.
�I'll be fine,� Jason said smiling softly.
�No, you won�t. And neither am I because this is incredibly embarrassing and completely out of line,� Elizabeth said.
�I'll be back, all right,� Jason said.
�Not a good idea, Jason,� Audrey said. .
�Don�t you understand that�s not your call? She'll be gone soon don�t stay out long,� Elizabeth said.
Jason saw something in her eyes when he walked away. He shut the door and stood outside waiting for them to get done. He kept the door cracked so he could hear what was being said. Not that he wanted to listen to their conversation or anything he just wanted to know what she was going to do about this.
�Oh, Elizabeth I am deeply, deeply disappointed,� Audrey said.
�You know what? That goes both ways,� Elizabeth said harshly.
�Elizabeth I�m grandmother watch your tone,� Audrey said.
�You are my grandmother, and, yes, I do love you. But I will never forgive what you did,� Elizabeth said.
�He�s dangerous and I won�t allow this get your things you�re coming home,� Audrey said.
�What,� Elizabeth said.
�You have a choice Elizabeth,� Audrey said.
�So if I don�t leave with you now you�re going to throw me out,� Elizabeth said.
�Elizabeth,� Audrey said.
�Get out Gram,� Elizabeth said.
�I only want to protect you,� Audrey said.
�I�ll be by later to get my things,� Elizabeth said.
�Is this fling worth all this,� Audrey said.
Jason walked away with his head bent down he could hear them still talking. He felt bad about all this, he was really hurting her now. They all thought he was taking advantage of her but he wasn�t. She was the one who was making him stay she was the one taking care of him.
�You know, I was so scared I wasn�t going to find you,� Elizabeth said helping him walk.
�I didn�t get too far,� Jason said.
�You're breathing awfully hard,� Elizabeth said.
�I'm just tired, that�s all,� Jason said.
�Yeah, well, you look like you're about to faint,� Elizabeth said.
�No, I'm fine,� Jason said.
�Sit down�You know what I�m glad I picked up that lock today,� Elizabeth said.
�The lock�s not the problem�I am�its time for me to go,� Jason said.
�Why, because my grandmother said so,� Elizabeth said.
�You saved my life I will never forget that�But I'm a complication you don�t need,� Jason said.
�Would you please not tell me what I need? Would you out of all people not do that? Do I have a sign on my head that says mechanical doll wind me up and steer me wherever you want,� Elizabeth said.
�No I,� Jason began.
�Because Nikolas seems to think so and obviously so does my grandmother. Do you have any idea how much I hate it when people tell me what to do,� Elizabeth said.
�Yeah, I probably do,� Jason said.
�Rest I�ll be back later with supper,� Elizabeth said.
Jason watched her go and knew he was right about not getting her mad. He felt guilty for getting her kick out of her home, having to lie to her friends. But she wouldn�t back down the more he tried to push her away the more she pushed him right back. She was like no one he had ever met or at least could remember meeting.
�Who did that,� Elizabeth said looking at the lock.
�I did,� Jason said.
�You�re suppose to be resting,� Elizabeth said.
�I am, do you have the keys to this,� Jason said.
�Yea I had one made for you actually,� Elizabeth said handing it to him.
He took it from her and looked at her for a moment as he sat down on the couch looking at her. She was unloading stuff that she had brought in. Tonight she would be staying here with him. He felt another tug at his heart as he thought about the conversation he heard earlier.
�I heard some of your conversation with Audrey,� Jason said.
�Really,� Elizabeth said.
�You could go home and be safe and,� Jason said.
�Go insane,� Elizabeth said.
�Elizabeth,� Jason said.
�Jason I was lost without Lucky, I made him my whole life and when I lost him I lost my life,� Elizabeth said.
�I can�t be your life,� Jason said.
�That�s the point,� Elizabeth said.
�Now I�m confused,� Jason laughed.
�For the first time I�m me not Audrey�s granddaughter or Lucky�s girlfriend,� Elizabeth said.
�You�re just Elizabeth,� Jason said.
�This is my life I love Lucky always will but I�m moving on and they can�t handle that,� Elizabeth said.
�You are one amazing woman Elizabeth Webber,� Jason said.
Elizabeth felt like for the first time she was on her own doing what she wanted to do. She had to work the next day. She knew that she was make up with her grandmother same day. But there was no changing her mind she was going to do what she wanted to do.
�Elizabeth I know your hurting but,� Emily said.
�Emily please,� Elizabeth said.
�I would be very happy for you both usually but he�s taking advantage of you,� Emily said.
�Do you really think Jason would do that,� Elizabeth said.
�No I didn�t until now,� Emily said.
�You don�t understand, none of you do,� Elizabeth said as Nikolas joined them.
�We understand�you�re hurting and you want it to stop,� Nikolas said.
�That�s not it,� Elizabeth said.
�The explain it,� Emily said.
�I love Lucky always will but I have to let him go and move on,� Elizabeth said.
�So because you finally accepting his death you sleep with my brother,� Emily said.
�That�s kind lose moral don�t you think,� Nikolas said.
�So that�s it I sleep with someone and I�m a slut,� Elizabeth said.
�Elizabeth that not what I mean,� Nikolas said.
�That�s exactly what you mean,� Elizabeth said.
Elizabeth walked off as fast as she could the tears filling her eyes. Nikolas and Emily watched her go they didn�t mean for it to come out the way it did. Emily just wanted to understand how her brother could do this to Elizabeth and Nikolas wanted to know why she�s been acting so weird.
�Food�s here,� Elizabeth said.
�Something other then but soup I hope,� Jason said.
�Pizza,� Elizabeth said.
�Thank You,� Jason said.
He had noticed Elizabeth somewhat sad mode since she had returned home from working. She had been smiling trying to reassure him everything was fine but it wasn�t. He just thought that everything that has happened was finally getting to her so he left her alone. That was until he woke up to her crying that night he knew something else was wrong. When he looked at her, she had her knees to her chest and crying.
�Elizabeth,� Jason said.
�Jason is everything okay,� Elizabeth said wiping her eyes.
�No�you�re hurting,� Jason said.
�It�s nothing go back to bed,� Elizabeth said.
�No tell me what�s wrong,� Jason said.
�You need your rest,� Elizabeth said.
�Elizabeth you can�t hide from me, we live together for the time being,� Jason said.
She moved over so that he could sit besides her on the bed she was sleeping on. He watched her wipe from tears from her face. For the first time realizing she was only in boxers and tang-top while he was only a pair of boxers. She didn�t seem to mind so he didn�t. He moved her hair behind her ears as she looked up at him the pain was clear in her eyes.
�Nikolas thinks I�m a slut,� Elizabeth said.
�Elizabeth,� Jason said.
�Emily thinks I�m moving to fast, she believes Nikolas that you took advantage of me,� Elizabeth said.
�What else could she believe Nikolas thinks we�re sleeping together,� Jason said.
�It hurts that he thinks so low of me�he�s my friend it just hurts so much,� Elizabeth said.
�Do you want to know why I won�t let Carly or Sonny help me,� Jason said.
�You don�t have to tell me,� Elizabeth said.
�Sonny and Carly slept together the night I was shot I came back to her in his shirt,� Jason said.
�That�s how you ended up in the snow,� Elizabeth said.
�Yea it killed me to think about it,� Jason said.
�But,� Elizabeth said.
�It helped me finally get free from her once and all,� Jason said.
�To move on past the pain,� Elizabeth said.
�Right now I have to figure out who I am, who is Jason Morgan,� Jason said.
