Summary: This chapter is about Luke and Leia�s life up until they are 18.

�Mom,� Anakin said.
�Ani,� Shmi said.
�I�ll go find Beru,� Padme said.
�Anakin,� Amie said.
�Oh my look at you,� Anakin said.
Owen and Beru home was that far from Cliegg and Shmi�s home. She had to turn so she could see Anakin once again. She could hardly believe that after two hard years the war was over. Anakin and Obi-Wan had defeated Palpatine or The Emperor as Yoda has come to call him. Now the emperor was dead and the Republic was saved with a stronger man in charge. Bail Organa had done a great job at cleaning it up.
�Beru,� Padme said.
�Padme,� Beru said.
�Padme,� Owen said hugging her.
�Anakin with your parents,� Beru said.
�Come on he hasn�t met Byron yet,� Beru said.
�He gotten so big,� Padme said.
�Everyone I came here for a reason,� Anakin said.
�Not seeing me isn�t enough,� Shmi said.
�Of course but another one,� Anakin said.
�I�m pregnant,� Padme said.
�I�m going to be an aunt,� Beru said.
The trip back wasn�t that bad. They both loved the feeling of the other in the bed. Yoda had blessed the coming of her child. But Yoda had not said child he said children, so could he have seen how many they were having. But Naboo Law their children could not leave the planet until the age of five. The council agreed especially with Yoda saying it was okay. Obi-Wan would come to the castle and train their child until it reach the age of 13. Then it would become Padawan learner to a Jedi Master.
�I think this room is best,� Padme said.
�Padme we have eight months so let go to bed,� Anakin said.
�I just want everything to be prefect,� Padme said.
�I learned that the only good parent is a loving parent,� Anakin said.
�I know that I just want give it everything,� Padme said placing her hand on her stomach.
�And we will,� Anakin said.
Ara Cox looked around sadness filled her eyes as she watched the screen. She had cried when she heard that Anakin Skywalker married Padme Amidala now she cried because they were expecting their first child. It was her own fault he had left because she felt like she didn�t belong. She was strong in the force but didn�t want to become a Jedi like them. Now Anakin was one of the best known Jedi in the galaxy. She would not hurt Padme no that he would get over in time, but he would pay somehow. She grew angry that he loved another woman, his child yet that is who will pay some day.
�How is she,� Obi-Wan asked.
�Great the doctor gave us some surprising news,� Anakin said.
�It�s a girl,� Mace said.
�No it�s a boy,� Obi-Wan said.
�You are both right she�s having twins one boy and one girl,� Anakin said.
�That what Yoda meant by their children will be strong in the force as well,� Obi-Wan said.
�I believe Yoda knew this all,� Mace said.
The pregnancy was pretty easy up until now. She had their room all ready for them, Anakin said he thought it best if they shared a room until they got older. She agreed when they get scared they knew the other one was there with them. Obi-Wan had his room put next to theirs. He would care for the children from the day they are born until they reach thirteen. Anakin was very glad about this he knew he would do a great job. Padme said eh children would learn about politics as well. Yoda again agreed with her saying they must understand both parents.
�Ani you may see her,� Sabe said.
�Is she alright,� Anakin asked.
�Fine but wants to see you,� Sabe said.
�Anakin look at them,� Padme said.
�They are beautiful,� Anakin said.
�What did you name them,� Obi-Wan said.
�Luke and Leia,� Padme said.
�May I hold one,� Anakin said.
�Sure they�re your children too,� Padme said.
He tried to pick up Luke but he couldn�t get a hold of him so he went for Leia who was crying. Once he picked her up and cradled her in his arms she went quiet. She had light brown they seem to look into his soul at that moment. Padme knew from that moments Leia was going to be a daddy�s girl. And she was right from that day on Anakin was the only one who could quiet her down.
�Daddy,� 3 year old Leia yelled.
�Leia,� Anakin said taking her in his arms.
�Princess pleases,� a maid said.
�Have you been a bad girl,� Anakin said.
�No,� Leia said shaking her head.
�We need to pick her dress out for the Queen�s Birthday Celebration,� she said.
�Blue one,� Leia said.
�I�ll bring her back in an hour,� Anakin said.
�Master where�s Luke,� Anakin asked putting her down.
�He�s under the bed,� Leia said.
�Not suppose to tell,� Luke said chasing after her.
�They have a very strong connection,� Obi-Wan said.
�I can see that how is Padme doing,� Anakin asked.
�How did she do last time she was five months pregnant,� Obi-Wan said.
�She�s hiring someone to help you,� Anakin said.
�Good they can take the baby I�ll take these two,� Obi-Wan said.
Leia and Luke would be celebrating their 7th birthday soon. Her mother was planning a big party which they had to dress up for. She would be wearing this red dress that her father said he loved. Connor would be wearing what ever their picked and Luke would be wearing something similar to Obi-Wan�s outfit. It amazed her how much she and Luke were different but still was so close. Connor was strong in the force but not as strong as they were; Leia knew he would take his mother place as king one day.
�Come one Leia,� Luke said
�How do I look,� Leia said.
�Like you usually do but in a red dress,� Luke said.
�You look both look very nice,� Obi-Wan said.
�Master why do we have these things,� Leia asked.
�Naboo wants to celebrate their Prince and Princess birthday,� Obi-Wan said.
At ten years old Obi-Wan knew that Luke would become a great Jedi knight. He was sure Leia would too, but there was something special about Luke. Luke was already ha master the lightsaber and the force seemed to flow through him so naturally. Leia was always more interested in flying then she was in being a Jedi knight. She was also pretty good at coning anyone out of anything. She didn�t even have to use the force to do it with. He would have to watch her from now on.
�Oh I don�t want to do this,� Padme said.
�Come on,� Anakin said.
�Will have to do this with all five of our children,� Padme said
�Yoda says it their choice,� Anakin said.
�Daddy,� Leia said.
�Oh my Angel,� Anakin said.
�I thought mom was your angel,� Leia said.
�You both are,� Anakin said hugging her.
Padme and Anakin stood with 11 year old Connor, 6 year old Qui-Gon, and 2 years old Ali to say good bye. They got on the ship that would take them to Coruscant to be tested. Yoda decided to send another Jedi knight in Obi-Wan�s place and have him train Luke. Leia was put with Anakin�s old friend Seba who was looking for her first apprentice. Luke and Leia hugged each other goodbye. Obi-Wan gave Leia a goodbye hug telling her to remember everything she has learned from him.
�Master Lara,� Luke said.
�Luke I hear you going home for your 16th birthday,� Lara said.
�Yes I am,� Luke said.
�Have fun Luke,� Lara said.
Luke looked around Naboo looking for his sister when he sensed danger. Leia who was on the other side of the platform sensed it as well. Her Master had already gone outside so when she felt something prick her neck she could help it. Luke felt the same thing. Luke and Leia both were taken somewhere else and a man saw them. He rushed outside telling Obi-Wan and Seba who were waiting for them. They rushed back inside to find no one around.
�Leia where are we,� Luke asked.
�I don�t know,� Leia said.
�Welcome,� Ara said.
�Who are you,� Luke asked.
�That not your concern,� Ara said.
�Where are we,� Leia asked.
�Get comfortable you won�t be alive much longer,� Ara said.
Luke felt Leia seat down on the floor next to him. He knew she was being truthful he could feel all her anger and hatred towards them. What they couldn�t figure out is who this woman was and why she wanted them dead. A man came soon taking them to another room where two Wookies stood. The man left the room in the room alone. The Two Wookies looked at them. Leia could tell one of them was just a baby the other was its parents. The child was scared so Leia went towards them neither went to hurt her,
�Someone coming,� Luke said to all of them.
�Move away from those animals,� a guard said.
�Do as he Child,� The Wookie growled to Leia.
�Leave them alone,� Leia said moving towards Luke.
�Sorry we have orders,� he said.
One guards moved to Luke letting her know not to do anything. The other one put his blaster up to shoot the parent but Leia couldn�t let that happen. As he fired the blast Leia swung her body in front of the Wookie taking a hit in the stomach. The guard looked at her in shock but a man came in hitting the guard from behind. Luke ran to Leia who was on the ground. Leia looked up the man who had just helped them before she could speak he left them.
�Bye the force,� Luke said knelling down to her.
�Is the Wookie�alright,� Leia asked.
�Yes you saved its life,� Luke said.
�I owe her my life and my child life,� she growled.
�She live I�m putting her in a healing trance,� Luke said.
�Come on I�ll carry her,� she growled.
It had been two years since Leia and Luke had been captured and they still didn�t know who did it. Obi-Wan said this wasn�t the first time someone had tried to hurt them. But it had never been this direct. Padme thought it as someone who wanted to her and Anakin. Luke and Leia were on Tatooine visiting their family with Obi-wan while Seba went to the temple for a while. Connor was training to the take his mother place. Mace wanted to take Qui-Gin who was 11, since he showed great love in philosophy and history. Anakin and Padme agreed to let him leave, so he was now with Mace. Ali was only 7 years old and trained at home on Naboo.
�Come on Leia get serious,� Luke said.
�I am,� Leia said.
�Let her be,� Byron said.
�So how feel to be engaged,� Leia asked.
�Great especially with a four year old sister,� Byron said.
�Aunt Amie,� Luke said.
�I heard you were here,� Amie said.
�Dad wished he could have come but some Jedi thing came up,� Leia said.
�My husband and I were going to Mos Eisley for some things you all want to come,� Amie asked
�Can we master,� Luke said.
�Yes but I will be coming as well,� Obi-Wan said.
Han Solo and his first mate Chewbacca walked through the streets. Chewie told him he was going back The Falcon and Han just shook his head in approval. After twenty minutes Han saw her, she was wearing a Jedi Padawan outfit. Her hair was put up except for the long braid. Around her neck he saw that she wore a necklace with a Wookie symbol on it.
�Excuse me,� Han said.
�No it was my fault,� Leia said smiling.
�Han Solo,� Han said.
�Leia Skywalker,� Leia said as he looked her in the eyes.
�Leia Aunt Amie wants you,� Luke said taking her arms.
�It was nice to meet you Mr. Solo,� Leia said.
�Call me Han Miss,� Han began.
�Leia,� Leia finished for him.
As she walked away Han couldn�t help but not look at her. She was 18 years old but there was still something about her. He knew that the kid who came to get her was her brother. He said Aunt Amie that would leave him as her brother or maybe her cousin. Han made his way back to the Falcon thinking about her as he went.
Luke was glad to be back doing his duty as a Jedi Padawan. Leia just was serious enough for this job and knew she wouldn�t be a Jedi Knight. While on a mission for the council Obi-Wan was called back because Anakin was being made a member of the council. But Mace told Luke to stay where he was, that he could handle it. All he had to do was make sure no one got hurt. Obi-Wan was more proud of Anakin at this moment than he had ever been.
�Master don�t you even wonder why you are not on the council,� Luke asked.
�I was asked once, but aid no. I felt that my time to be on the council was not yet,� Obi-Wan said.
�Do you still feel that way,� Luke said.
�Yes my duty is not to serve on the council but to serve the council,� Obi-Wan said.
�Tell my father I wish I could be there and my mother that I love and miss her,� Luke said.
�Remember all I have taught you if you think you�re in trouble contact me,� Obi-Wan said.
�I will master,� Luke said.
Luke felt someone go into his mind someone new, but someone who knew what they were doing. He looked around and shut them out. He felt it come from the park but didn�t go there went the other way. Soon he was behind a girl about 16 with red hair. She turned around to show her bright green eyes. Luke looked at her giving her a small smile she stood up.
�You�re sloppy who is your teacher,� Luke asked.
�No one you know farmboy,� she said.
�I am not a farmboy I�m from a Jedi Padawan from Naboo. What is your name,� Luke said.
�Mara Jade,� Mara said.
�Luke Skywalker,� Luke said.
�My mother is my teacher, she used to be a Jedi before she married,� Mara said.
Mara was thankful that Luke had not turned her in. They walked and she started to take him to her home where her mother was. She had invited him to her place for dinner to say she was sorry for this. She looked at Luke again and couldn�t help but think he was cute. He had ice blue eyes with sandy blond hair. But she could tell by his expressions that he was always serious.
�So why are you here,� Mara asked.
�I leave in two days I was here for your Princess wedding,� Luke said.
�So what are you going to do,� Mara asked.
�Meditate and wait,� Luke said.
�Sound boring�how about I show you around,� Mara asked.
�It�s not boring,� Luke said.
�You need to loosen up a bit and have a little fun,� Mara said.
�My Master will not approve of this,� Luke said.
�Ask him you never know,� Mara said.
Mara mother was nice she had brown hair and green eyes, her father bright blue eyes with red hair. He knew where Mara got her looks from. He called up his master telling him about what happened. They had not been notified about a force sensitive child on that planet. The Luke explained what she had asked Obi-Wan knew from when Anakin was a child what to do.
�You should go have some fun,� Obi-Wan said.
�Are you sure,� Luke said.
�Positive,� Obi-Wan said.
�Who was that,� Anakin said.
�Luke wanted to tell me everything went great,� Obi-Wan said.
�Great,� Anakin said.
Seba let Leia fly the ship they were in knowing it made her feel peace. Leia reminded her so much of Anakin, how much he loved to fly. She also knew that Anakin didn�t believe he belonged either until he passed his test. People were told why Anakin and Padme were allowed to marry. At first it hurt Anakin and Padme but then they thought about their lived. They had so many beautiful children almost twenty years of marriage. Some people don�t even get that so they were grateful hoping the best for their children.
