Summary: Leia and Luke must deal with being Jedi and being themselves.

�Leia,� Seba said.
�Master,� Leia said.
�It�s time to go,� Seba said.
�Yes Master,� Leia said.
Seba allowed her to fly the ship to Naboo where they would be meeting Luke for their parent 21st Wedding Anniversary Celebration. Connor was 17 and would be giving his first speech as heir to the thrown of Naboo. Luke would be bringing his friend he met over a year ago, Mara.
Leia looked at the dresses on the bed she would have to choose one. She quickly let all her hair down put her Jedi Padawan clothing back on. She put her belt on attaching a blaster and her lightsaber to it and went for a walk as a normal person. Seba would allow her to do this sometimes forget about everything and just let thing pass her.
�Lando,� Han said.
�Come on,� Lando said.
�Leia,� Han said.
�Leia who,� Lando said looking around.
�She�s a woman I met a year ago on Tatooine while paying off Jabba�s debt,� Han said.
�She�s very lovely,� Lando said.
�Stay away from her she�s a Jedi,� Han said.
Han watched her for a few moments seeing that she was bothered by something. Then it hit him her name was Leia Skywalker, as in Princess Leia Skywalker. He walked passed Lando to see her go towards the field of nothing but wild flowers.
�Princess,� Han said.
�Mr. Solo,� Leia said.
�Fancy meeting you here,� Han said.
�Not really considering,� Leia said.
�Han are you going to introduce me your friend,� Lando said.
�Leia Skywalker Lando Calrissian,� Han said.
�Leia,� Luke said.
�Luke,� Leia said.
Han watched as the two hugged she smiled and said her goodbye to Han once again. He watched her go; it seemed they were always saying hell-O and goodbye. She still wore that necklace around her neck; he knew the symbol but couldn�t place it.
�Who were you talking to,� Luke asked.
�No one just some people I met,� Leia said.
�That one looks familiar somehow,� Luke said.
�Your friend,� Leia said.
�Leia meet Mara Jade,� Luke said smiling.
�Pleasure I�ve heard a lot about you,� Leia said.
�Likewise,� Mara said.
Leia could feel the emotions coming between them some she didn�t recognize but they were strong. Luke knew what he was feeling was against the rules. And what he was about to do was just as much but he couldn�t help him self. He was falling head over heels in love with her.
Mara touched his face and he bent forwards touching his lips to her. The moment their lips met they felt something go through their minds. As they deepened the kiss it got stronger and Mara wrapped her arms around his neck opening her mouth to his. Sensation after sensation came to their mind after a few moments they couldn�t hide anything from each other.
�What was that,� Mara asked.
�I think our minds linked,� Luke said pressing his head against her.
�I thought that was rare,� Mara said.
�It is,� Luke said.
Luke and Mara had kept their relationship a secret for the last year. Luke was now on her planet to see her and she met him with a kiss. She could feel him when ever he was close and knew where to meet him. Luke lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. The kiss was deep with passion and hunger but both knew they couldn�t act on those feeling just yet.
�We can�t keep doing this,� Luke said as she went back to the ground.
�I know but soon you take your trails and Jedi can not marry,� Mara said.
�But they can bond,� Luke said.
�What,� Mara said.
�As a Jedi Knight I can bond my life to you,� Luke said.
�With the approval of the council,� Mara finished for him.
�They�ll approve,� Luke said.
�I would have to move and promise our children to the council,� Mara said.
�It would be like what my parents did,� Luke said.
Mara stood up from the ground looking around the planet she grew up. Her mother had taught her enough about the force to live and protect her self. But she was no jedi and never could be her parents forbid it. She looked at Luke and gave him a smile.
Luke and Leia were celebrating their 21st birthday and that they each passed the trails that made them jedi knights. After Yoda looked into Luke and Mara mind and saw a one vision of the future he agreed. Mara had moved in with Padm� at the palace. Leia watched from a far she was happy for Luke. Their wedding was a special one Leia got to wear what ever she wanted. She decided on a red dress that came to her knees with her jedi robe.
�These don�t exactly go together,� Luke said.
�I know but it�s a mixture of my two personalities,� Leia said.
�Are you happy,� Luke said.
�Yea The Council giving me a few weeks off to do whatever�are you,� Leia said.
�Yes I hope you find love Leia,� Luke said.
�Better get to your wife,� Leia said smiling.
Leia�s was glad their family from Tatooine was here for this joyous event. Leia felt even sadder as she watched everyone. Anakin could see this and feel Leia. Leia and he had always had a close bond one that could only be described as a father�s love for his daughter. He knew that she would not stay a Jedi for her whole life it just wasn�t her destiny.
�We meet again,� Han said.
�That we do,� Leia said smiling.
�Can I ask you some thing,� Han said.
�Sure,� Leia said.
�Where did you get this,� Han said.
�I save a Wookie mother and her child�s life so she gave me this,� Leia said.
�Was it in a ship a guard came in,� Han said.
�Yes,� Leia said.
�That was me I heard what happened and went to save them,� Han said.
�Then they�re alive and well,� Leia said.
�Yes,� Han said.
�Then I owe you my life if you didn�t came they�d have killed us,� Leia said.
Leia agreed to eat dinner with him and his friend Chewie. She was just glad that Lando was no where in sight she had a funny feeling about him. They found out that they had more in common then he would have thought. Han could sense that something was wrong with her.
�So what are you doing here not exactly a place for a princess or Jedi,� Han said.
�I come here when I want to forget,� Leia said.
�Forget what,� Han said.
�Who I am, here I�m not a jedi or a princess I�m just Leia another person in the crowd,� Leia said.
�I know that feeling,� Han said.
Leia woke up the next morning getting out of the bed, Han was still asleep. She started to get dress and made it as far as her shirt when he pulled her back in the bed. He settled on top of her and she smiled at him. He kissed her and she welcomed the kiss. Opening her mouth to him Han returned the kiss with equal passion then she suddenly wince in pain.
�What�s wrong�I didn�t hurt you last night did I,� Han said worried.
�No�Chewie�go�oh god,� Leia said.
�He�s hurt,� Han said.
�Yes hurry,� Leia said in pain.
Han quickly got up and pulled on his pants and ran down to where Chewie was. He had been shot but nothing that would kill him. Han saw the women who did it the same women he saw capture the Wookie mother and child. She smiled evilly at him before shooting him. Leia walked out fully clothes and armed and she looked up at Ara.
�Who are you,� Leia said.
�You shield well,� Ara said.
�Answer me,� Leia said.
�You barely know him yet you love him and vise versa,� Ara said.
�Who the hell are you and why do you want,� Leia said seeing Han waking up.
�Ara Cox�Come with me and he lives don�t he dies,� Ara said.
Leia knew she was telling the truth and she shook her head yes. She bent down kissed his forehead and whispered Luke Skywalker and left. Han acted like he was still out as they walked out. He knew that he had no chance against her she was a jedi. Once they were gone Han quickly helped Chewie who swore he was okay. Getting dressed they quickly started their way towards Naboo.
�I know you don�t I,� Luke said.
�Listen kid I�m a friend of your sister, Leia,� Han said.
�What�s wrong,� Luke asked.
�Leia was taken by a woman named Ara Cox�she knocked me out and shoot my friend here,� Han said.
�What was she doing with you,� Luke said.
�She stayed in my ship,� Han said.
�Why�never mind I don�t want to know lets go see my dad,� Luke said
Ara Cox was watching her with a smile Leia would die slowly. But first she would suffer with the death of her love Han Solo. Ara knew he would come and probably with some help. So she would wait and Ara would have revenge on Anakin Skywalker.
�Ara�why,� Anakin said.
�Is your friend Chewbacca hurt badly,� Padm� asked.
�No Ma�am,� Han said.
�What do you do,� Anakin asked.
�Right now I�m trying to get out of the life I have,� Han said.
�Can you help us,� Padm� asked.
�Of course Leia�s my friend,� Han said.
�Luke you go with Captain Solo I�ll contact the Council,� Anakin said.
Han watched as Mara kissed him light and they were off. Mara walked over to Padm� who gave her a smile that told her everything would be alright. Even now when they were 21 years old she still worried about then and probably always will.
�He loves her,� Padme said.
�I�ve heard of Han Solo he�s a smuggler,� Anakin said.
�Maybe Leia turned him,� Padm� said.
�Maybe,� Anakin said.
�He seems to be a strong leader someone who knows what they�re doing,� Padm� said.
�He�s older then her,� Anakin said.
�Am I not older then you, Luke is older then Mara,� Padm� said.
�Let�s get her home before we plan her wedding,� Anakin said.
A week later and after tons of fights Han and Luke found out they were different but somehow they formed a friendship. Chewie saw how much they were acting like children and they still had a day before they make it to where Ara was. Luke hoped that his father got some help from the council.
�Do you care for my sister,� Luke said.
�Yes she had this ability over me that I can�t explain,� Han said.
�She�s a good jedi but she wants more,� Luke said.
�More,� Han said.
�She gifted in the force but it�s not what she wants,� Luke said.
�She wanted to be somewhat normal,� Han said.
�Something like that,� Luke said.
Luke had a feeling that this was all too easy, they had go into the ship without a problem. Leia was on the ground when Han went up to her. She was unconscious with no real bruises or cuts to see. She woke up when she felt someone touch her face. Honey brown eyes met hazel with a small smile, but she soon felt Luke.
�Leia,� Luke said.
�Hi,� Leia said as Han helped her up.
�It�s a trap,� Han said.
�Yep so you can come out now,� Luke said.
Han turned to see a woman who was dressed in a green dress with a lightsaber on her side. He knew this woman as Cox the Wookie killed. She was known all over for enslaving and killing innocent Wookies. That why she had two Wookies on her ship those years ago. Leia and Luke knew her from some years ago when they were just kids.
�What do you want,� Luke asked.
�Your father will pay,� Ara said.
�Why what did he do,� Leia asked.
�He loved another�take him away,� Ara said looking at Han.
As they started to take Han away Leia rushed towards him to be stopped by guards. Ara let an evil smile play across her lips. Soon Leia and Luke were being brought into a room. Han look Leia in the eyes, how could she love this man. She barely knew him they had spent only one night together. Han kissed her it was passionate and loving all at once but it was shorter than he liked.
�I love you,� Leia said.
�I know,� Han said.
Then it lowered him down and Leia heart stopped what was she doing to him. He came back out in cased in carbonite, Ara walked over. Smiling even more as Leia was sure he was dead. She looked at Leia closing her eyes enjoying the feeling of fear from her. But angry this was supposes to kill him in a painful way.
�He�s alive for now,� Ara said upset.
�Thank the force,� Leia said.
�Kill him,� Ara said looking at Luke.
�I don�t think so,� Anakin said.
�Take them away,� Ara yelled.
The fight between two old friends had begun. Anakin had no idea how someone he once cared for so much could turn this evil. She was his first love the first girl he ever kissed. When she left it tore him apart but it prepared him for Padm�. Luke and Leia fought to get free but found it was more a struggle then an actual fight.
�Can you free him,� Luke said.
�Yea let�s hope he�s okay,� Leia said.
Luke ran back to his father to see that Ara was no in sight. Ara Cox was dead Luke had no idea how to feel about that. She had torment them, killed so many Wookies but she was still a living soul. Anakin was hurt and Luke knew that they needed to get out of here.
�How�s Han,� Luke asked helping Anakin up.
�Fine kid,� Han said.
�Let�s go,� Anakin said.
Leia helped Han into his ship as Luke and Chewie began to fly it. She put him into his bed against his wishes saying he was fine, but she wouldn�t have it. He had spent ten minutes incased in carbonite and his body needed rest.
�Leia,� Han said as she began to walk out.
�Yea,� Leia said.
�I love you too,� Han said.
�I know,� Leia said.
Leia couldn�t deal with the life as a jedi so a year later at the age of 22 she retired. Han had proposed marriage and she agreed. Anakin was against their relationship from the start but with Padm� liking him he said nothing. Trying to get him off the idea of marriage he was making them have a royal wedding.
�So what are we going to do,� Leia said.
�Actually your mom offered me a job,� Han said.
�Really,� Leia said.
�With the rank of General,� Han said.
�Are you going to take it,� Leia asked.
�If you don�t mind,� Han said.
�No�Dad gave us a house as a wedding present,� Leia said.
�He really doesn�t like me,� Han said.
�I was always daddy�s little girl,� Leia said.
�And my past doesn�t help,� Han said.
Leia kissed him soundly on the lips pulled him closer to her on the bed. Han lost himself in her kiss wondering if things for them would ever be easy. Han had never imagined himself being in love with a princess who was also a retired jedi knight.
�Leia,� Shmi said.
�Han these is my grandparents Cliegg and Shmi, my Aunt Owen Aunt Beru and my Aunt Amie,� Leia said.
�And who is this,� Shmi said.
�Everyone this is Han Solo,� Leia said smiling.
�The groom,� Amie said.
�Welcome to the family Son,� Cliegg said hugging him.
Leia walked out and down isle in a white dress that amazed Han. Lando could not believe that his friend and ex-smuggle Han Solo was marrying a Princess. No one believed that Han Solo would go respectable. Han had accepted the job and would be in charge of Naboo�s biggest ship. Anakin after a long talk with his mother was now accepting Han. The kiss was innocent and sweet and Luke smiled at the love he felt coming from her.
�Mara are you okay,� Leia asked.
�Yea I have not idea why they call it morning sickness it doesn�t always happen in the morning,� Mara said.
�Have you decided on names,� Obi-Wan asked.
�Actually we wanted to name him Ben after you,� Luke said.
�After him,� Shmi said.
�My name real name is Ben Obi-Wan Kenobi but I never go by Ben,� Obi-Wan said.
�I think it�s all he can do after all the trouble he put him through,� Leia said.
�I put him through,� Luke said.
�My I have this dance,� Han asked.
Shmi smile as Han and Leia danced with only the thoughts of each other. She remembered those years ago when she got married. Then when she gave birth, she remembered Owen and Beru wedding. She remembered the birth of her first grandchild. Anakin remembered his wedding to Padm� how much love he felt for her. He could feel their love and knew this was meant to be.
