THIS IS THE SECOND CHAPTER OF THE NEW CITY CYBER SOAP.
LOCATION JOHANNA'S APT.
JOHANNAH IS SHOCKED TO SEE KATERINA.
JOHANNAH:Katerina!?. I thought you were in New Jersey at boarding
school. oh no, what happened this time?.
KATERINA:Momma, I came home. I need to tell you & Danny & Jocelyn
something.
JOHANNAH GETS SCARED.
JOHANNAH:Katerina your not back into the drugs again are you?.
KATERINA:NO!. listen can I just come in?. their are some people I want
you to meet. and when you see them, don't yell.
KATERINA TURNS TO SANDY.
KATERINA:Sandy, can you bring the twins in here?.
SANDY BRINGS THE TWINS INTO THE APARTMENT.
KATERINA:Momma, these are your grandchildren. Maddie & Hannah.
KATERINA PICKS HANNAH UP.
JOHANNAH WALKS OVER TO THE TWINS. SHE SMILES AT THEM.
JOHANNAH:Hannah & Maddie?. how old are they?. 2?
SANDY:they're a year old.
JOHANNAH:may I hold one of them?.
KATERINA:you can, sure. if they'll let you.
JOHANNAH BENDS DOWN, THE TWINS ARE STANDING BY THE COUCH.
JOHANNAH:hey Maddie. can I hold you?.
MADDIE DROPS HER BOTTLE, & REACHES FOR JOHANNAH.
LOCATION CITY BAR.
ALLY & TONY RUSH INTO THE BAR.
ALLY:Alex! is it true!. is Molly back in SoHo?. where is she?.
ALEX:we don't know. Det. Dolan is checking into the DownTown Hotel.
or Molly is hiding out across the street.
TONY:how the hell did she escape!?.
ALEX:knocked out several of the guards.
JOCELYN:we tried to call Portland Pines, but no one there will let us talk to
Tommy.
LOCATION AIRPORT.
BERNARDO: I can't believe were back home. seems like we've been gone for years. alot has changed since we've been gone.
AZURE:Molly was found to be the Masquerader. and nearly killed Danny Roberts.
not to mention Jocelyn.
BERNARDO:Buck & Tess are married. I hope this year turns out to be better than the last.
BERNARDO & AZURE GET A CAB.
CAB DRIVER:where to?.
BERNARDO:212 Greene St.
AZURE:The City sure has stayed the same. wonder if Sydney Chase is still
there?.
BERNARDO:we'll fine out sooner or later.
AZURE:wonder if Tess will give me back my modeling job.
BERNARDO:wonder if there will be a Modeling Agency. after Jared Chase
stole the agency from Tess, I doubt she tried to start another one. maybe you can work for Danny at GenX.
LOCATION CITY BAR.
SYDNEY CHASE WALKS INTO THE BAR.
ALEX:oh my Word.
JOCELYN:Alex!, what is it?. is it Molly!?.
SYDNEY:Check Mate.
EVERYONE LOOKS AT SYDNEY.
SYDNEY:I never stay in one place for very long. so did you miss me?.
ALEX:we thought you had moved to London. why did you change your mind?.
SYDNEY SITS AT THE TABLE.
SYDNEY:Oh Alex. you know me. I have to many friends here. or shall I say
enemies?.
JOCELYN:Sydney if you're here to give us bad news about the building, you can forget it. Tracy married Gino. and the back taxes are all paid off. besides
I'm suprised you have not heard the News.
SYDNEY:ohh yes. that little Miss Molly Malone is out. Jocelyn I tried to warn you.
but it was to late.
JOCELYN:to late for what?.
SYDNEY:as I was about to call you, MISS Malone, knocked me out. I pretended that I was dead. so do we even know where she is?.
ALEX:Sydney we're trying to find that out.
SYDNEY:well I have something to attend to. I need to see the newest
additions to our family. Angie & Jacobs Baby. and Danny & Carla's Son.
let the games begin.
SYDNEY LEAVES THE BAR. LEAVING EVERYONE IN SHOCK.
LOCATION JOHANNAH'S APARTMENT.
JOHANNAH:Sandy will you excuse us a while?. I need to talk to my
daughter.
SANDY SIGHS.
SANDY:ok. hey mind if I smoke in the other room?.
KATERINA:Sandy can you lay the twins down for thier nap?. you can lay
them down in my old room, and make sure you watch them.
SANDY:whatever.
SANDY TAKES THE TWINS BY THE HAND.
SANDY:lets go. your Mom & Grandmother need time to talk.
A FEW MINUTES LATER.
KATERINA SITS ON THE COUCH.
KATERINA:where do you want me to begin?.
JOHANNAH:how about from the start. why did you not call us!?.
Danny Jocelyn & I would have helped you.
KATERINA ROLLS HER EYES.
KATERINA:yeah right. Danny & Jocelyn never did like me. they never
wrote to me in boarding school. after all it WAS Danny's idea to send
me away. and Jocelyn. every time my birthday came around she would
freak out.
JOHANNAH GETS NERVOUS. SHE TRYS TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT.
JOHANNAH:were are you staying tonight?. you can stay here if you want to,
but if you do. Sandy has to stay in the other room.
KATERINA:there you go! you change the subject. just like you always do.
unless you're drinking again.
JOHANNAH:Katerina I am not drinking. and you know it. there are just some secrets that are better left alone.
KATERINA:really. well all I have to say is this secret, that you & Danny keep
hiding from me. it will be told to me.
KATERINA STORMS INTO THE OTHER ROOM.
JOHANNAH WALKS OVER TO THE DESK, SHE OPENS IT
AND PULLS OUT AN ENVELOPE.
JOHANNAH:Katerina you will never find out the truth. never.
I have to protect you. you must never know the truth.
FADE OUT.
ON THE NEXT INSTALLMENT.
NICK & LORRAINE LEAVE TOWN.
MOLLY SPY'S ON THE RESIDENTS.
