Citylink has now aquired Connex bus of London and Marchwood Motorway's of Southampton.
These have come from Shire, minus buses.
The operation's here get a bit confusing, so here goes.
Citylink North are to run the Connex business under the "CapitaLink" name. Marchwood is also going to be run by Citylink North which will be named "Citylink in Southampton".
Because of the deal didn't include buses, buses are currently in the paintshop's as a matter of Urgency. All normal re-paint's have been suspended until over 70% of the buses are in the CapitaLink livery.
Buses have been Draughted in from places with spare Low-floor vehicles and even Non low-floor buses from Reserve are to Replace Low-floors which will be transfered to the Connex business to make a 100% Low-floor fleet.
Also some spare buses are to be taken to the Marchwood Business.
