The Jumpgate: It's a menu you can find in the right frame.
There are links to many places of Cybertown.The " How Do I" button: In the right frame too, or in the jumpgate. It opens a window with lots of answers very helpful when you are lost.
The "Newcomers Club": This is the helping place of Cybertown, visitors are allowed to chat.
This is where you can meet City Guides. Their job is to help you with any question you may have about Cybertown.
People in Newcomers Club are always glad to help newbies :)
What is Cybertown?
A big multiple chat room
"Cybertown is a chat community where you can be in 3D. You can have a home, a job, earn money and buy furniture for your home". This is what i reply to explain it in a nutshell when people ask :)Cybertown is a big Chat Room, and much more than this.
The first reason why people come to Cybertown is cause it is a very friendly place.
People who come here follow the basic rules of respect and politeness that you can find (or should find) in real life. Those rules are written in the Cybertown constitution.
If ever people break those rules, they may be banned from the chat, or "moderated".
There is a Security staff who is in charge of keeping this site safe and open to everyone.
How do I become a Member
You can join Cybertown for a 30-day free trial. After this period, you will cost 5$ a month if you decide to stay :)The only places where you can chat as a visitor are

You can have a home and a job
There are 9 colonies in Cybertown.
Each colony is made of several Neighborhoods.
Each Neighborhood is made of several blocks.
When in a block, click on a "free" spot to get your own home.
People in charge of those areas are respectively:
- Colony Leaders, helped by Colony Depuuties.
- Neighborhood Leaders helped by Neighbborhoods Deputies.

Furnish your home
When you immigrate, you have 1000cc (cc is City Cash, Cybertown virtual money)
It's enough to buy a home (you can have one for 200cc) and some furniture to start.
To buy furniture, go to The Mall via the Jumpgate.
In stores, right click an object and choose "buy", the object goes in your "bp" (backpack).
When in your home, right click this object in your BP and choose "drop".
