A Deep Forest Glade .....
You wander along the narrow trail, your heart pounding from the effort of the hike. Finally, you come upon a plateau covered in sparse foliage after the break of the trees. The sky is bright with not a single cloud in it, and the sun shines down brightly. At the edge of the plateau is a single shape, equine, and brightly colored.
She turns to face you, assuming a defensive stance. Her eyes flash at the sight of you, and she relaxes. Slightly. Her tail twitches in annoyance, and her long purple mane blows lightly in the wind. She clears her throat, her eyes narrowed. " I am Riva, a Falina mare brought here by an auction at the Marketplace. I have nothing to say to you, now leave," She says harshly, and turns her back to you, leaving you sputtering in amazement at her rudeness. You hear a soft, musical laughter, and whirl around, nearly falling over in your haste. You blink. Before you is another equine, similar in appearance to Riva, yet completely different.
" Hello, little human. I am Pax, Peace of the Gods, a Falorn Goddess. I am of the origin of Peace. You must excuse Riva, she may seem surly and cruel, but she has a kind heart. She just does not take well to humans...nor other Falina, for that matter. But in time, hopefully, she will loosen up a little." She says, smiling kindly. You nod, feeling a little better, and begin the long hike down the mountain
