A Kennel...
You walk quickly along the tidy gravel path, and swing open the door of the out of place building. It is domelike, and pained white with a skylight in the ceiling. The door is wooden, and inside it looks very modern. There are several windows, and they pour golden light onto the hardwood floors. There is no furniture at all, and it seems empty. Suddenly, you hear the scrape of claws on wood, and turn to see a lovely dog, probably a golden retriever, standing behind you, her tail wagging softly.
She butts your legs with her head, pushing you through one of the doorways. Inside is another empty room, but this one has an open glass door opening onto a huge yard. In the yard is another dog, small and slightly fluffy, and he bounds around, his thin, cordlike tail whipping back and forth.
The first dog barks, and the second one stops, coming up to face her. She barks once more, then pushes you over to a small table, the only piece of human furniture you've seen the whole time you've been here. Sitting down on the grass, you lift a sheet of paper off the white garden table. It reads:
" Welcome, Traveller, to our kennel. These are our first two dogs, Kimmer's Golden Woodnymph, and Kimmer's Silver Shadow. We are expecting several more dogs as soon as the cheif breeder is feeling better, so keep checking back! Oh, and by the way, there is a portal to the dog's home kennel at the back of the garden (bottom of the page), if you want to go visit!"
You finish reading, and are suprised to find the dogs gone. Shrugging, you move on...
