Treading your way through the woods, you wish you had brought sunscreen, of all things, because you know you are badly burned, and once the sun goes down...you wince and decide not to think about that right now. As you continue to argue with yourself inside your head, you slip, and fall through a well diquised hole. You don't even bother to scream, after this very thing happening so many times in this realm, you simply scold yourself for not anticipating it.
You open your eyes, wincing at the dull throbbing in your ankle. Blinking, you pinch yourself. You are awake. Gulping, you look out once more at the marvel before you. The whole undergrounf complex is made out of wood, metals, clays, and precious gems. There are many structures, like stables, small huts, what looks like armories, bakeries, and a mini scale castle! Getting to your feet, you see the whole place is alive with small folk, going about their daily buisness. The whole city is uphill and with small paths curving up, and a small forest surrounds the tiny town. Small streams run through it, and flowers line the paths. A small building next to the castle is guarded heavily by tiny guards. Nervously, you make your way to the small castle. Peeking around it, you see the queen is in the garden, reading. She looks up at you and gives a little sigh. Grinning, you pick her up in the palm of your hand. "Hello human. I am Queen Lessa. We are the village known as Wraesha. We are the town built to care for Crenels fostered by Lady Starbreeze, and we have just been blessed with out first!" She tells you enthusiastically. " Would you like to meet her?" You nod, and, setting her down, carefully follow the tiny queen.
You stop not long later right behind the heavily guarded building, next to a stable you had not seen before. The queen looks up. "That is the royal stores of Ambrosia and various nectars, favourites of Crenels," she tells you hastily, and, taking a ring of keys from her belt, opens the door of the stable. She momentairly dissapears, and reappears, motioning for you to follow. You grin and point to yourself, wondering how she expects you to fit in there! She sighs and simply tells you sternly to come in. Grinning, you try, and, to your amazement, you fit! You are now the same size as the queen! You are utterly stunned. The queen laughs and drags you into the stable. It is wonderful inside, but oddly quiet. The queen leads you to a single stall, the door marked with a brass plate reading:
B'reye
"Her name is B'reye."
S
he tells you, and pushes open the stall door. Inside is a tiny little equine, who is lounging happily.
When the door creaks open, the tiny equine jumps to her feet, looking disgruntled. The queen smiles, and begins to arrange an array of items on a shelf in the stall. You look at them closely, reading the labels.
"Apple Berries, a pale green fruit with a taste faintly like apples,"
" Porcelain dish for water,"
"Cinnas, a favourite snack of Crenels, tasting like nectarines, though with an acid tang not to all crenels' taste,"
"Goldberries, soft warm fruits known to fill you up quite easily, and a favourite fruit to Crenels,"
"Blue glazed hug for holding Ambrosia and nectar,"
"Moss, sleeping pallet."
The queen is still distracted with the young Crenel mare, so you quietly let yourself out. She runs after you, calling your name.
" I am afraid it is dangerous for you to stay here much longer, so if you will just take this," She says, handing you a small vial. "It is a special potion, including Ambrosia. Simply think of where you want to be, then take a sip, and close your eyes, and you will be transported there." She instructs you, and you nod, setting her down. Following her innstructions, you close your eyes and sip the sweet nectar. Your head spins, and rainbow petals spin in front of your closed eyes. The sweet air fills your nostrils, and you are suddenly falling...
