In the year 1994 a new course was opened in MPC, Junior Secretarial a Two-Year course that deals primarily or computer application for future company secretaries. The following year another course was opened, the Associate in Computer Technology (ACT) that deals mostly on the hardware component of a computer system. In 1996, Batchelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) was opened, a Four year baccaloureate course and so the department was then called College of Computer Studies. By the year 2001 - 2005, the college was located in the first floor of the University main building. In 2006, the Colege of Computer Studies was then relocated to the 2nd Floor. Batchelor of Science in Information Technology (IT), another Four - year Baccaloureate course was opened by the year 2008 and so, the college of Computer Studies was then called COLLEGE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND COMPUTER STUDIES (CITCS).

Until now this three courses namely: ACT,BSCS,BSIT are producing globally competitive graduates
