-Facilities- -Boarding- -Stallions- -Mares & Foals- -Sales- -Contact- -Shows- Flare Stables has a large spread of land, approx. 40 acres in total. It is a mainly Racing stable, but has a indoor and outdoor ring, for boarders. The rings are also sometimes used for training our race horses. The actual facilities, consist of: - A 42 stall main barn - A 10 stall stallion barn - A 6 stall recovery barn - 3 Hotwalkers - Horse Pool - Track (turf) - 50, medium size seperate paddocks - Indoor and Outdoor Ring - Wash Stall - Heated Lounge - Washrooms - Feed and Tack Room - 50 ft. diameter Round Pen - Cutting Arena (with 10 head of cattle) All barns have each their feed, and tack rooms. Also having each with a bashroom, and a wash stall. All stalls are normal box stalls, (14 x 12) with non-slip floor mats, and each with a window. Stalls are cleaned twice a day, and all horses have their own assigned paddock. We also have 24 hour veterinarian care, and all of the horses are bedded on shavings, as they are easy to maintain and are almost dust free. Each of our walkers can take up to six horses at any one time and these are invaluable for horses coming back from injury who require steady controlled exercise. They are also used to loosen muscles prior to exercise. Each stall has a luxurious fan, and automatic watering system. A 16 ft. deep exercise swimming pool, with 125,000 gallon capacity is also used for our horses. The water is double filtered every 7 to 9 hours. Each track has a starting gate. |
