Adductor

What are the Adductors?

The adductors are the part of the quadricepson the inside of the thigh, the part of your legs that touch when you walk. This head is also the sterotypical tear-drop shaped section of the quad. This secton of the muscle is responsible for drawing the legs inward and straighening the leg, allowing you to ride a horse by squeezing your legs together, or kick.

Basic Training

The training of the adductor muscles is best lumped in with the training of the other heads of the quadricep. However, a deficiency in this area may be corrected by using the techniques listed below when performing these exercises. When altering how you perform a heavy exercise, make sure you start out with lighter weights to avoid injury.
