Dyna was born in January, 1999. She was one of the nine smooth fox terriers set adrift in a shelter when Ed and Judith Wolff of Sprucehill kennels died. Dyna and the other Sprucehill smooths fortunately made it into breed rescue and Dyna wiggled her way into my home and my heart. (See Dyna's pedigree here.)

Dyna is an old soul, the sweetest and gentlest smooth fox I've encountered. She is a complete couch princess and loves nothing more than to be loved and cuddled and told what a wonderfully cute girl she is. While she is quite playful, she refuses to engage in anything as undignified as jumping a jump or going through a tunnel. Upon her arrival, Dyna attached herself to
Iz, and they are rarely apart.

Dyna is a Delta-certified therapy dog along with Iz and Jack. She and I spent two years volunteering in a hospice. Her quiet, calm manner touched every person she encountered, and I am blessed to have such a loving pup to come home to every night.

Dyna is also the auntie to Jack and Jen's
pups, born in September, 2005. She is as tolerant of those annoying pups as any mommy dog could be.
Dyna loves to have her picture taken.
A friend happened to have this puppy picture of Dyna taken when the Wolffs were still alive.
A very silly picture of me and Dyna in matching scarves!
