Circle Singers consists mostly of volunteers who love to sing. However, at our forefront are two people who not only love their music but also have made it their careers. Here we present the credentials of these two individuals that help give Circle Singers a more professional sound.
Bill Osborne is a graduate of Panama Conservatory de Musica in teaching voice, composition, and conducting. Currently he is a Ph.D. candidate at the Union Institute and University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio in Choral Pedagogy and Choral Psychological Research. Bill has studied composition and voice at the Cincinnati College Concervatory of Music. He was a student in voice with Madame Marta Spoel and Roque Cordero. As a professional singer, the conductor has appeared worldwide in lead roles in Broadway and operatic productions and as a performance club singer. He also appeared as a soloist in the United States 344th, 289th and 79th Army Bands.
Besides his singing/acting career, Bill is a composer, choral director, published author, and teacher. He founded and directed the Tifton Conservatory of Music and the Southeastern School of Fine Arts. Many of Bill's compositions have been performed by choirs across the globe.
Bill has been director of Circle Singers since 2003.
