When
I was a sophomore, my friends and I made a list: The top 100 reasons why people
die in horror movies. Unfortunately, that was many millennia ago and I have
since then lost the list, which is why this list only goes up to ten right now.
These were the ones that I could remember and the ones that I felt should be on
the list.
So here
are the new updated reasons!
The Top 10
Reasons People Die in Horror Movies

Hesitation
2. Looking back
3. Going towards the noise
4. Splitting Up Into Groups
5. Going Upstairs, sometimes instead of out the front door
6. Having Sex
7. Wearing/Running in high heels
8. Falling/Tripping
9. Not making sure he's dead...(aiming for the chest instead of the head)
10. Going back for your friends/ looking for another person
The
Runners Up
1. Looking
for the killer
2. Hiding, specifically in a closet
3. Answering the Phone
4. Not leaving the place
5. Panicking
6. Leaving the window open and closing it later
7. Trusting the New Person
8. Shutting the door in an upstairs room (He's probably already in the room)
9. Turning off the lights/Not turning on the lights
10.Confrontation between any two characters, including the killer and someone
else.
