GOD BLESS AMERICA! There are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some native Americans, need to understand. First of all, it is not our responsibility to continually try not to offend you in any way. This idea of America being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Americans, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language, and our own lifestyle. This culture, called the "American Way" has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. Our forefathers fought, bled, and died at places such as Bunker Hill, San Juan, Iwo Jima, Normandy, Korea, Vietnam... We speak English, not Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society -- learn our language!" "In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some off-the-wall, Christian, Right Wing, political slogan -- it is our national motto. It is engraved in stone in the House of Representatives in our Capitol and it is printed on our currency. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation and this is clearly documented throughout our history. If it is appropriate for our motto to be inscribed in the halls of our highest level of Government, then it is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. God is in our pledge, our National Anthem, nearly every patriotic song, and in our founding documents. We honor His birth, death, and resurrection as holidays, and we turn to Him in prayer in times of crisis. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture and we are proud to have Him. We are proud of our heritage and those who have so honorably defended our freedoms. We celebrate Independence Day, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and Flag Day. We have parades, picnics, and barbecues where we proudly wave our flag. As an American, I have the right to wave my flag, sing my national anthem, quote my national motto, and cite my pledge whenever and wherever I choose. If the Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. The American culture is our way of life, our heritage, and we are proud of it. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. Like it or not, this is our country, our land, and our lifestyle. Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion about our government, culture, or society, and we will allow you every opportunity to do so. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about our flag, our pledge, our national motto, or our way of life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great
American freedom: THE RIGHT TO LEAVE! Another thing: To those who do complain about the usage of words like 'God' and 'American' and speaking the language of our great nation, TRY GOING TO ANOTHER COUNTRY AND SPEAK AGAINST WHAT YOU DON'T LIKE. YOU WILL MORE THAN LIKELY END UP JAILED OR EVEN KILLED. In America, you take your right to complain for granted. The more patriotism that is removed from where our children are taught, the less our children will learn about what it is to be an American and our nation's spirit will slowly be killed. Keep patriotism alive. If you agree, pass this onto other Americans! (I'M SURE YOU DO !) Don't get me wrong, there's many that comes to this country and respect what American stands for and take pride in our country, it's those that come and try to change what we stand for, that will not happen. Not as long as i'm an American. It is time to take a stand! God Bless America and our Military and Veterans!
You may have heard in the news that a couple of Post Offices in TX have been forced to take down small posters that say "IN GOD WE TRUST". The law they say, they are violating is something silly about electioneering posters .(is God running for office?) Anyway, I heard proposed on a radio station show, that we all write
"IN GOD WE TRUST" on the back of all our mail.
After all, that is our national motto, and on all the money we use to buy those stamps. I think it is a wonderful idea. We must take back our nation from all the people that think that anything that offends them should be removed. If you like this idea, please pass it on, and DO IT. God Bless America.
Below You will find A Picture That Explain
We define patriotism, render respect and honor and pay tribute in many ways. Some people have a different level of devotion and a different level of pride, some just show it differently. Regardless, it is what's in your heart that matters. As you see this picture below think of the millions of Americans who have come before us, served their country and then come home only to be forgotten, left behind and in some cases, even discarded by the same people they fought to defend. Remember those who valiantly served and were cursed when they came home. The gentleman in this attachment is unknown to me. I don't know who he is, where he has been or even if he ever served a day in the military. BUT, by his action I would be willing to bet that he served his country, proudly and with honor, and in his heart is still serving by doing all that he can to show his love for his country. Please pass not only this picture to your friends but also the message that here. We must as American's stand tall and be counted. God Bless the USA

I received a copy of this letter, and I thank you Mr. Daniels, Well Said.
"Charlie Daniels' Open Letter to the Hollywood Bunch"
OK -- Let's just say for a moment you bunch of pampered, overpaid, unrealistic children had your way and the U.S.A. didn't go into Iraq. Let's say that you really get your way and we destroy all our nuclear weapons and stick daisies in our gun barrels and sit around with some white wine and cheese and pat ourselves on the back, so proud of what we've done for world peace.
Let's say that we cut the military budget to just enough to keep the National Guard on hand to help out with floods and fires. Let's say that we close down our military bases all over the world and bring the troops home, increase our foreign aid and drop all the trade sanctions against everybody. I suppose that in your fantasy world this would create a utopian world where everybody would live in peace.
After all, the great monster, the United States of America, the cause of all the world's trouble would have disbanded it's horrible military and certainly all the other countries of the world would follow suit. After all, they only arm themselves to defend their countries from the mean old U.S.A.
Why you bunch of pitiful, hypocritical, idiotic, spoiled mugwumps. Get your head out of the sand and smell the Trade Towers burning. Do you think that a trip to Iraq by Sean Penn did anything but encourage a wanton murderer to think that the people of the U.S.A. didn't have the nerve or the guts to fight him?
Barbra Streisand's fanatical and hateful rankings about George Bush makes about as much sense as Michael Jackson hanging a baby over a railing. You people need to get out of Hollywood once in a while and get out into the real world. You'd be surprised at the hostility you would find out here. Stop in at a truck stop and tell an overworked, long distance truck driver that you don't think Saddam Hussein is doing anything wrong.
Tell a farmer with a couple of sons in the military that you think the United States has no right to defend itself. Go down to Baxley, Georgia and hold an anti-war rally and see what the folks down there think about you. You people are some of the most disgusting examples of a waste of protoplasm I've ever had the displeasure to hear about. Sean Penn, you're a traitor to the United States of America. You gave aid and comfort to the enemy.
How many American lives will your little, "fact finding trip" to Iraq cost? You encouraged Saddam to think that we didn't have the stomach for war. You people protect one of the most evil men on the face of this earth and won't lift a finger to save the life of an unborn baby. Freedom of choice you say?
Well I'm going to exercise some freedom of choice of my own. If I see any of your names on a marquee, I'm going to boycott the movie. I will completely stop going to movies if I have to. In most cases it certainly wouldn't be much of a loss. You scoff at our military whose boots you're not even worthy to shine. They go to battle and risk their lives so ingrates like you can live in luxury.
The day of reckoning is coming when you will be faced with the undeniable truth that the war against Saddam Hussein is the war on terrorism. America is in imminent danger. You're either for her or against her. There is no middle ground. I think we all know where you stand. What do you think? God Bless America! Charlie Daniels Copyright © 2003 Charlie Daniels
Daniel, I'm here today because men and women of the United States military like you have given their lives for my freedom. I am not here tonight because Sheryl Crowe, Rosie O'Donnell, Martin Sheen, George Clooney, Jane Fonda or Phil Donahue, sacrificed their lives for me. If my memory serves me correctly, it was not movie stars or musicians, but the United States Military who fought on the shores of Iwo Jima, the jungles of Vietnam, and the beaches of Normandy. Great men like......my grandfather Bill Arter! Today, I say we should support the President of the United States and the U.S. Military and tell the liberal, tree-hugging, Birkenstock-wearing, hippy, tie-dyed liberals to go make their movies and music and whine somewhere else. After all, if they lived in Iraq, they wouldn't be allowed the freedom of speech they're being given here today. Ironically, they would be put to death at the hands of Saddam Hussein or Osama Bin Laden. I want to know how the very people, who are against war because of the loss of life, can possibly be the same people who are for abortion. They are the same people who are for animal rights but against the rights of the unborn. The movie stars say they want to go to Iraq and serve as "human shields" for the Iraqis. I say let them buy a one-way ticket and go. No one likes war. I hate war! But the one thing I hate more is the fact that this country has been forced into war. Innocent people have lost their lives. On December 7, 1941, there are no records of movie stars treading the blazing waters of Pearl Harbor. On September 11, 2001; there are no photos of movie stars standing as "human shields" against the debris and falling bodies ascending from the World Trade Center. There were only policemen and firemen underpaid civil servants who gave their all with nothing expected in return. When the USS Cole was bombed, there were no movie stars guarding the ship - - where were the human shields then? If America's movie stars want to be human shields, let them shield the gang-ridden streets of Los Angeles, or New York City, let them shield the lives of the children of North Birmingham whose mothers lay them down to sleep on the floor each night to shelter them from stray bullets. If they want to be human shields, I say let them shield the men and women of honesty and integrity that epitomizes courage and embody the spirit of freedom by wearing the proud uniforms of the United States Military. Those are the people who have earned and deserve shielding! Throughout the course of history, this country has remained free, not because of movie stars and liberal activists, but because of brave men and women, like you Daniel, who hated war too. However, they lay down their lives so that we all may live in freedom. After all "What greater love hath no man, that he lay down his life for his friend," or in this case a country. We should give our military honor and acknowledgement and not let their lives be in vain. If you want to see true human shields, walk through Arlington Cemetery. There lie human shields, heroes, and the BRAVE Americans who didn't get on television and talk about being a human shield - they were human shields. I thank God tonight for freedom those who bought and paid for it with their lives in the past those like my beloved cousin-Daniel, who will protect it in the present and defend it in the future. America has remained silent too long! God-fearing people have remained silent too long! We must lift our voices united in a humble prayer to God for guidance and the strength and courage to sustain us throughout whatever the future may hold. After the tragic events of Sept 11th, my friend said terrorism is a war against them and us and if you're not one of us, then you're one of them. So in closing today, let us be of one accord, let us stand proud, and let us be the human shields of prayer, encouragement and support for the President, our troops and their families and our country. I love you, Daniel. Thank you for putting your life on the line for our family......your family. We are proud of you. It is good to know that there are still people who care for freedom and America. We will be praying for you without ceasing. May God bless America, the land of the free, the home of the brave and the greatest country on the face of this earth! If you are so inclined, visit the Department of Defense web page below and sign a brief message thanking the men and women of the U.S. military services for defending our freedom. The compiled list of names will be sent out to our soldiers at the end of the month. So far, there are only about 2,505,787 people have signed to date. What a shame. There should be hundreds of millions of thank you's. Pass the word that we can honor and support the defenders of freedom during National Military Appreciation Month. As of today March 09, 2003 the total number that has sent a thank you to our Hero's are 5,938,722 people have signed to date. Keep it going Please. Update, as of today March 17, 2003 6,267,988 Million people have signed to date. As of March 29, 2003 11,101,947 Million people have signed to date. America, keep signing, our troops need to know we are there for them and support them.

Never Forget These Action Against The United States. How Many More Attack Has To Happen Before America Realize They Have Something Larger Planed To Destory Our Home Land And Freedom. Don't Forget How Many American We Have Lost And It Was All Done Coming Threw The Backs, Only a Cower Would Do That. At Least We Let Them Know When When We Will Attack And Still Give Food And Shelter To Help There Citizens. And Some Say Trust Them, How Much Trust Does It Take Before It Takes Americans To See They Don't Know The Meaning Of Trust, They Don't even Treat There Women With Any form of Respect of Human Life. Or Is It That We Soon Forget How Many Americans Died and Didn't Even Know What Hit Them. I Feel This Is Only The Tip Of What They Have Planed For Us. Wake Up America. Smell The Coffee. There's Many Here And We Have No Idea Where They Are. When Saddam Kill's His On People, He Will Not Even Give Us A Second Look Before Trying To Destroy Us.
