Typewriter Key Jewelry
Typewriter keys are recycled from old Underwood, Royal, Remington, Woodstock and other manual typewriters of the 1920s to 1950s. Some Keys were manufactured with paper symbols under glass, while others are bakelite. All featured chrome rings to protect the keys. No plastc keys are used. The face of the keys used in jewelry is not modified. The strike action "arm" is removed and the back side is ground smooth. Then, they are lightly cleaned. Typewriter key jewelry is all set in silver tone to match the original chrome rings.

Typewriter key bracelets and watches are made from a variety of keys, using special characters, (shift, tab) punctuation, numbers and letters. Although most keys are black with white or cream characters, some are green with cream or yellow with black characters. Watches are available in different styles and both round and rectangle faces may be available.
Pendants are available with any single key, such as the "Shift Key" above. By using one, two or three letters custom initial necklaces can be created (right). Fan pull chain is used to carry-out the recycled design of the jewelry, but the bail will support other chain.
