CAESAR SALAD from Aunt Aliance Cook

1 pound of lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
(Some of the lettuce should be romaine but use other lettuce of your choice)
1 cup of croutons (recipe below)

Put the above 2 items into a large bowl and toss well.

Mix the items below and pour over the lettuce & croutons.
1 small clove garlic, minced (OR 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder)
1/3 cup canola or olive oil
1 egg (egg substitute can be used)
3/4 teaspoon salt (may be omitted)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 Tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoon worchestershire sauce
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

CROUTONS

Place slices of bread on a broiler pan or cookie sheet. Spray with olive oil, sprinkle with italian seasoning. Broil just until light brown. Turn and repeat. When bread has cooled cut into 3/4 inch squares.
