Let's see what I can tell you now!!! Hmm...how about I start out by introducing a little about myself.

I am Vietnamese (although my great grandma is French, but trust me, I look Vietnamese!!). I've lived in Southern California for most of my life, but I was born in Vietnam. Although I don't remember much about it, I hope I will get a chance to go back there to visit soon. So anyway, I went to CSULA for my undergrad degree in CIS. Although working with computers wasn't my thing, I was inspired by my cousin who said to me... "Cindy! What are you gonna do when everything will be computerized in 5 years and you don't know anything about computer?" So, besides seeing how much money she was making at the time, I thought she had a point. I decided to go into computer field. Of course, in order to keep my cool-image in school, I had to pick something not too nerdy yet challenging...:) That's when I started with the web, a brand new field at the time, and a good combination of technicality and creativity.

So then after I got my B.S. in CIS, I applied for a job at an aerospace company in Southern California. Luckily, the hiring manager and the group lead liked me, so they hired me on the spot. Jim, my manager at that time was the best boss I've ever had. Anyway, I didn't start working until I got back from a trip to Hawaii.

While working there, I was lucky enough to have my company pay for my grad degree in MSMIS at a private school, Claremont Graduate University. The total cost was 30K+ for the entire program of almost 2 years. During this time, I also tried to start my own business w/ a close friend of mine performing web services for people. It was great when I was able to make $$$ for my new TV set on the side. Additionally, I also modeled, mainly make up and hair modeling for hair companies like Sebastian and other Japanese companies. Trust me, it's not worth it for the time you put in and the amount of $$$ you make! I used to have long hair, and they offered to cut it all off for just $300. Of course, now I have to pay them to cut my hair. Anyway, with all those crazy things going on, I still managed to party quite a bit. But shhhhh...my mom doesn't know this...:)
