Fleas Itching:
To get rid of fleas in your carpet, after removing pets from the room,
sprinkle Borax over the carpet and rub it in.
Wait a while, then vacuum as usual.

This is a safe, non-chemical method of flea control.

Reapply the Borax once a week until the problem is gone.

BORAX
Sprinkle borax onto clean, well vacumed carpet, bedding,
chairs and sofas work perfectly, although not immediately.
In about 6 weeks the fleas disappear, from the house.
This method interupts their life cycle at the larvae stage, and this is why
it takes time to be effective.

BORAX is sold in the laundry soap section in supermakets,
it is a fine white powder after pushing through a strainer
to get out the lumps.
Broadcast it by hand a yard or so above the floor and chair level.
If the carpet is a dark color, a light sweeping sends little grains
into the nap, where they disappear from view.

One good Borax treatment will last a year.
