21: City Guys
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Notes: From Sarah’s point of view.
Sarah had the feeling that the current situation was getting out of hand. Cecilia, who usually was (supposed) to be the responsible one, had been drinking all night. Connie was still thinking of a suitable revenge on Guy, and Julie had disappeared with some guy. Just to the other side of the room, but still...
Fred had been calling them all, trying to locate where Cecilia was. Sadly, neither Cecilia nor Connie wanted to answer his call. Julie didn’t care, and the batteries in Sarah’s cell ran out the exact second she answered the phone.
“Guess what?” Connie asked.
“What?” Sarah said tiredly. She was really sick of hearing any more complaints about Guy. Couldn’t that girl talk about ANYTHING other then that?
“Julie met some guy, and she said that his friends wanted to meet us. Do you think we should do it?”
“Are you nuts? Of course not! You have a boyfriend. If this is some sort of revenge on Guy, I have to say that the plan sucks. You’ll only regret it later,” Sarah replied. “You’re not doing it.”
“Cecilia is, and we can’t leave her alone, right?” Connie coaxed. “Please, have a heart.”
Sarah looked at Cecilia who came up to them. “What’d she say?” Cecilia asked.
“She was totally fine with it,” Connie exclaimed happily. “Let’s go.”
Sarah tried her best to object to the stupid idea. Cecilia didn’t seem to into it either; Connie had probably been exaggerating as usually. Sarah could only hope that Fred would show up and put a stop to this horribly plan.
“What did you say, really?” Cecilia whispered to Sarah when Connie finally let go of their arms.
“I said no, what else?” Sarah sighed. “This is not a good idea, Cecilia.”
“Well, I left out that ‘Cecilia’ in the end of my sentence, that’s the only difference, because that’s what I said too!” Cecilia moaned. “Connie gets crazy when she’s arguing with Guy. Let’s get out of here before she does anything stupid, okay?”
Sarah had to admit that Cecilia was very responsible sometimes. She took good care of the players; the only bad thing was that she usually didn’t do that until the last second. Although, it couldn’t be easy to order people around when you were the youngest of them all. Connie was one year older then the two of them, and so were most of the players on the team.
Sarah took a deep breath and tried to concentrate. What would Charlie do?

Notes: From Charlie’s point of view.
“I have no idea what to do now,” Charlie muttered. “They’re lost, and they won’t be found anytime soon.”
“I can’t believe that they won’t answer my calls!” Fred whined. “I expected that from Connie and Cecilia, but Sarah? Maybe they’re in trouble?”
“Let’s call the police,” Adam yawned. “I’m too tired to look for them anymore. At least we’d be entertained if the police showed up.”
The others just stared at him. “Okay, so maybe that wasn’t the best suggestion, but at least I’m trying to come up with something. Unlike some people,” Adam said pointedly, while looking at Guy. “Bitching and moaning won’t do the trick.”
Charlie tried to think. If he were Cecilia, where would he go? Besides from the liquor-store... “I got it!” he shouted. “They’re at Millennium, they have open tonight! God, thinking like Cecilia really pays off sometimes. But now I’m depressed...”
“Save the jokes for later,” Fred said. “They can’t be there, they’re not old enough yet.”
“And we are?”
“That’s because I can get you into that place...” Fred began but suddenly froze.
“What?” Guy asked.
Fred went through his pockets, while muttering something in Swedish. “That little... Cecilia stole my ID-card,” he said angrily.
“So, won’t they see that she’s not you?”
“Not that ID, my Miller Corporation ID. The card I use to get us into those clubs? Does it ring a bell? Damn my Dad to be so rich.”
“Yeah, I bet it’s a real pain,” Guy rolled his eyes. “So, the girls have your ID, and we don’t. But guess what? We’re getting in anyway.”
“How?” Charlie sighed.
“I hope I know what I’m going to do,” Guy mumbled to himself and began walking down the street.
Fred made thumbs up at Charlie. “Oh, great plan. I think he got it.”

Notes: From Cecilia’s point of view.
Cecilia was really concerned now. Not for Connie, but for the fact that they might be discovered and brought back to the school. That wouldn’t be so good, especially not when Coach Bombay already were REALLY pissed at them.
Connie was flirting with those guys who she desperately had to get to know. Well, where was the harm in that, as long as Guy wasn’t around? When she realized tomorrow what she’d been up to, she’d confess to Guy anyway. That was not something Cecilia wanted to witness.
“Can I say something?” Sarah interrupted. “I just wanna say that this is a lousy way to get someone jealous at. He’s not even here!”
Cecilia shrugged. “Don’t convince me about that, talk to Moreau.”
They both went over to Connie and tried to pull her away. “What?” Connie hissed at them. “I’m talking here.”
“Talk to us for a while. We can buy you peanuts,” Cecilia enticed.
“They’re free,” Connie said with a puzzled face. “I talk to you guys all day anyway.”
“Let’s talk about that!” Sarah suggested.
Cecilia lost her patience and grabbed Connie’s arm and dragged her away. She was a bit stronger then Connie, so that plan worked fine. At least one plan went as scheduled...
