Notes: From Scott’s point of view.

Scott had just begun with his homework when there was a hysterical banging on the door. He looked up but decided that he was too far away to open it.

“Open the door,” he ordered.

Luis turned his head away from the TV. “Open yourself, it’s probably your crazy wife.”

“I opened the last time,” Scott mumbled, while trying to tune out the noise from the other side of the door.

Luis got up from the bed and walked across the room. “Fine, I’ll open.” Just when he was about to open up, the door flung open by itself. Well, someone opened it.

“It was opened,” Charlie informed them.

“Yes, look Scott, the door was un-locked,” Luis hissed and threw himself down on the bed again.

“Have any of you seen the girls? I’ve been looking for Cecilia for about three hours now. She refused to open her door, so I tried with Sarah, but she’s gone too. Neither Connie nor Julie is anywhere to be found. I was hoping that you would know where they are,” Charlie said.

“No, I haven’t seen Julie at all since practice yesterday. She’s mad at me.”

“Why?” Charlie asked.

“Do you really need a reason?” Scott asked. “I can write you a list later. They’re not here, but what else is new? Did you check with Guy and Fred?”

“They refuse to consider this as a problem, since they’re arguing with the girls. It’s very confusing. Fred’s mad at Connie, Guy’s mad at Connie, Cecilia’s mad at Fred and Connie’s mad at both Fred and Guy.”

“Why are you telling us this? I couldn’t care less. If you find Julie, tell her to march home, we still have our economy report to do,” Scott replied. “And also, tell her that I won’t be in ‘our’ room, because I got tired of the walls in Adam’s room. I’m so confused, I don’t even know where I live anymore.”

“You live here,” Luis explained with an absent voice.

“Thanks for the update,” Scott growled.

The door slammed open again and Fred stumbled in with Guy right behind. “The girls are out somewhere,” Fred puffed. “God, I ran all the way from the mail-room. I think I have to throw up.”

“And you?” Scott asked Guy.

“I just ran from my room,” Guy said.

“I mean, maybe you can tell us what this fuss is all about?” Scott suggested.

“The guard saw them leave earlier this evening, but he didn’t ask them where they were going,” Guy said. “I bet they’re at some club.”

“Lets find out, we have to get them back before curfew. Coach Bombay is killing me if he finds out that I lost the girls,” Charlie muttered. “To sneak out just like that, what kind of manner is that? They should be punished.”

Scott gave them a menacingly look. “Could you do that some place else? I’m trying to concentrate on my homework.”

“You’re not coming with us?” Charlie asked. “You’re allowed to make a scene with Julie if you want.”

“Thanks, but no thanks. I already did that today during lunch,” Scott smiled. “Just get out here already!”

They all disappeared out the door, and the silence finally settled.
