Notes: From Connie’s point of view.

“I don’t get how he found out that Fred stayed in my room!” Connie exclaimed.

“I don’t get why you didn’t tell me!” Cecilia muttered. “I’m supposed to be your friend, and you go around sleeping with my boyfriend!”

“Calm down,” Sarah suggested. “Must you exaggerate every little thing?”

“Yes!” Cecilia shouted.

Connie sighed and sat down her bed. Everything was completely screwed up for the moment. Guy was mad because she hadn’t told him that Fred had slept in her room. It was the tiniest issue ever, but he’d decided to make lots of fuss about it.

“Look, Cecilia, I said that we shouldn’t tell you guys, because I didn’t wanted Guy to know. Fred could’ve told you himself, what you two say and don’t say to each other is none of my business,” Connie said. “I’m not that sort of person who goes around telling things behind my friends’ backs. Okay, you’re my friend too, but I promised Fred to keep quiet.”

“Oh, please, you spilled your guts the very next day over breakfast!” Cecilia pointed out. “But you’re right, I shouldn’t blame you when it’s Fred I’m mad at.”

They were all in Connie’s room, trying to finish their assignments. Sarah was trying to mediate between Cecilia and Connie, even though they were madder at their boyfriends then at each other.

Connie looked up when she heard someone knock on the door. “If that’s your stupid boyfriend...”

“No, it’s not him,” Cecilia concluded. “And he’s not stupid. Just dumb.”

Connie opened the door and found Julie standing on the other side. “I know where they’re going,” she told them all. “They’re not going to Rainbow.”

While moping around in Connie’s room, the four of them had decided to spy on the guys to see what they were up to. Julie had been assigned to find out more about their plans for the evening.

“So, where are they going?” Cecilia asked curiously.

“Well, that’s the problem, I don’t know,” Julie said quickly. “I just heard that they were going somewhere.

“They’re going out, and we’re stuck in here? Can’t we be rebellious too?” Connie suggested. “Let’s just do something stupid!”

“Sorry, but we don’t have time to find the answers for the next test so we can cheat,” Julie said sarcastically.

It wasn’t a big secret that Julie considered the rest of the girls on the team as really lame. Connie was very aware of that by now. And after the whole fallout during spring break, Cecilia was probably aware of that too.

“No, nothing like that,” Connie replied. “We could go out. The guys won’t know, since they’re somewhere else.”

“It’s school tomorrow,” Sarah reminded them.

“Please, can’t you ruin that perfect attendance of yours for this cause?” Cecilia begged. “It won’t be as much fun if we don’t do it together.”

“Do what together?” Sarah questioned. “Stupid stuff?”

“No, to go behind the backs of our husbands,” Connie said. “Wouldn’t you like to make Guy feel like an ass?”

“Not like I understand how me attending a club would make him feel like an ass, but sure, I’ll tag along,” Sarah smiled. “Where are we going anyway?”

“We could go to Millennium, they have open tonight. I don’t think Kingdom is opened,” Cecilia thought out loud. There wasn’t anyone who knew the clubs in the area better then her. Connie guessed that it had to do with Fred, since he was the one who got them in on all those clubs.

“Let’s go then,” Julie said. “Millennium it is.”

Connie waved at the others to get out of the room, and then she closed the door behind herself. She wasn’t sure if it was revenge or what it was that made her think that this was the best plan ever.
