We are going to try to play a show before school is out but we will not sacrifice the quality of a show just to play one earlier than what we are ready for. Cicada is recording the basement demo on Friday. Chris will not be on the demo (on the originals) probably because he has not been to enough practices. This will include Torn, 911, Santeria (Sublime Cover), Mudshovel (Staind Cover), and maybe a few surprises. Also, we are planning on doing a gig during spring break at Eagle's Lodge with After the Fall from California, Surphace from Norwich, Ks. and maybe some other local groups. Stay posted!

Rob Barton: Vocals, Lead Guitar
Chris Tracy: Rhythm Guitar, Backing Vocals
Ozzy Rivera: Bass
Matt Bliss: Drums

Rob ordered a multi-track recorder for the band's use. He plans on putting out an acoustic demo on the CICADA site. Rob also ordered a new guitar adding to his current collection. A Warlock from B.C. Rich is his new guitar of choice along with the six other guitars he already has. The BIOGRAPHY section will have the biography of the performer and the equipment they use on it plus the biography of the band.

After a long period of being useless waste of domain I have decided to work on it again. The reason the site went dormant was because the band was undergoing many chaotic line up changes, as well as arguements, and periods of silence between what members Cicada had. Now the update months later and the only thing to report for now is that there is no band. Rob is playing bass with another band (no name) with people he was introduced to by a friend. Ozzy is playing bass for a band with some of his friends. Lee is a guitarist in Newly Risen with John. And since we didn't have a drummer to speak of, there is no news there. CICADA IS NOT BROKEN UP! Rob and Ozzy still jam but with no other players. Lee and Rob haven't talked for awhile. There is still no drummer. Ozzy and Rob agree that the perfect line up right now would be Rob (lead guitar, vocals) Chris (bass, backing vocals) Lee (rhythm guitar) Ozzy (learn to play drums well). As you can see this is not something that will be easily conceived. If Chris played rhythm guitar, Ozzy played bass, and we could find a good drummer that can practice, we could create the sounds that our ears have desired for so long. In this event, we will keep you posted.
