For the record, The Churchwarden is a Reformed publication. Its doctrinal perspective is represented by the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, the Athanasian Creed, and various Calvinistic confessions--particularly the Westminster Confession of Faith coupled with its Larger and Shorter Catechisms, and the Three Forms of Unity consisting of the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism and the Canons of Dort.
Furthermore, The Churchwarden is published with the conviction that you're not truly Reformed unless you smoke a pipe; that English, Scottish and Balkan tobacco blends are really the best; that fly fishing is the most fun you can have standing up, but not lying down; and that the Puritans actually enjoyed sex way too much, felt embarrassed about it, and therefore wrote really strange commentaries allegorizing The Song of Solomon.
Finally, readers--and other folks with too much time on their hands--should understand The Churchwarden is written and edited by a heterosexual, Bible believing, born again Christian who practices catch and release fly fishing most of the time, who owns guns in accordance with the Second Amendment, who hunts poor defenseless game animals and then eats them without remorse. Thus, the material contained herein may be offensive to atheists, Constitutional revisionists, PETA members, theological liberals, the Episcopal Church in New Hampshire, and numerous other whiners.
