I HAVEN'T TIME FOR MY FAVORITE PAST TIME OF FISHING. YET THERE IS SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL ABOUT SETTING IN THE SUN AND SPENDING TIME WITH THE LORD. |

Most of our lives we work in such a way that time seems to be gone too soon. Children grow up too fast, and work kept us from sharing the greatest events in their lives. Why is it that we have to get to the age of slowing down before we realize how much we have missed? Or just failed to enjoy. My goals now are to not miss the fun of having grandchildren, and make the best of the children we have close. Those far away, we strive to keep in touch and always let them know how much we love them. Have we improved from our past? Well, all I can say is that the kids are enjoying the time we are having with the grandchildren, so much that they are going out of the way to give us more time |

We have been blessed with five children, and to date eleven grandchildren. Many are the experences of the father, yet the grandfather seems to have allot more fun. Somehow in raising our own we don't always get around to the fun part. It's work, sweat, and tears. Though we are always teaching and preaching, there is that time where the kids are not around. Then when they show up, it's time to enjoy. I really wish I could of seen this when my kids were allot younger. Just think of how much happier our lives could of been! |
