Background
I am a former senior-level software engineer, who is looking to return to the workforce, after recovering from some serious health issues. Because I no longer qualify as a senior level engineer, I am to seeking work in other fields where my MS Office / VBA skills can have a major impact on the productivity of my future employer.
I posses superior knowledge of the entire MS Office Suite including the COM interfaces it exposes. I can retrieve old data from MS Word and MS Excel documents and integrate them into a 3NF relational database, such as: MS Access or SQL Server; I can build front-end applications for querying, editing, adding, and removing data; and generate reports for summarizing this information. Furthermore, I can create cross-browser compliant websites that adhere to the HTML 4.01/Strict and CCS 2.01 specifications. Finally, I can provide basic networking and hardware trouble-shooting, should those skills be required.
Given this background, I feel that I can play a vital role for the right company while performing the normal day-to-day duties associated with the following areas: Accounting / Customer Service / Administrative Support. I hope you find my resume compelling, and thank you for your consideration
