Our Statement of Faith
We Believe:-
1. The Scriptures are Inspired -The divine inspiration & authority of the Holy Bible. It is the revelation of God’s Word and will for mankind. (2 Tim. 3:16, Isa. 40:8).
2. There is only one True God. The Triune God revealed in three persons – God the Father,God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Math 3:16,17, 28:19, John 20:21,22, 2 Corinthians 12:14).
3. In the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Living Son of God and our Saviour. His virgin birth Sinless life, His atoning death on the cross, His resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His coming to Rapture the church and then in His Second coming in Power (Math 1:18, 2:3).
4. The fall of Man. God had created man in His own image. The man was at that time good and upright. However, man fell to sin and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is the separation from God. (Gen. 1:26-27 2:17, 3:6, Rom. 5:12-19).
5. The Salvation of man. Salvation is received through repentance towards God and Faith towards the Lord Jesus Christ that He shed His blood on the cross for our sin, buried and resurrected (Luke 24:47, Rom. 10:9,10).
6. The two ordinances of the Church -
(a)Water baptism by Immersion after repenting for sins and accepting Jesus. In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as commanded in the Bible. All who repent and believe on Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord are to be baptized. Thus they declare to the world that they died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him. (Math 28:19, Mark 16:16, Rom 6:3,4).
(b) Holy Communion (the Lord’s Supper) as the symbolic remembrance of Christ’s suffering & death for our salvation and a prophecy of His Second coming (1 Corinthian 11:23-31).
7. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is an experience which empowers believers for witnessing and effective services as in the early Christian church by the physical sign of speaking with other languages. (Mark 16:15-18, Acts 2:4).
8. Sanctification – Sanctification is an act of separation from evil. It initially occurs at Salvation and a progressive lifelong process for a believer to become more Christ like. (Ro. 12:1,2, 1 Thessalonians 5:23).
9. The Church and its Mission. The Church is the Body of Christ, and habitation of God through the Spirit, and consists of the people who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. The Church has a mission (Mathew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-16) to seek and save all who are lost in Sin.
11. The Ministry – A divinely called and Scripturally ordained Leadership Ministry serves the Church to reach others for Christ, to worship Him and to build up and edify the body of Christ (church) – the Believers (John 4:23-24, Ephesians 4:11-16).
12. Divine Healing – Divine healing from sickness is a privilege for all Christians and is provided for in Christ’s atonement. (His sacrificial death on the cross for sins) (Is. 53:4-5, James 5:14-16).
13. The Blessed Hope – The resurrection of those who have died in Christ and their translation together when those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord will be caught up (Rapture – prior to His Second coming) to be with the Lord forever (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52).
14. The Millennial Reign of Christ – Jesus Christ will return with His saints and Holy Angels at His second coming in power to reign on earth for a thousand years. At this time many in the nation of Israel will recognize, and accept Jesus as Saviour and the Messiah who died for them (Ez. 37-21-22, Romans 11:26-27).
15. The Final Judgement – There will be a final judgement in which those who have rejected Christ will be judged for their sin. Whosever is not found written in the Book of life, will be consigned to eternal punishment in the lake of fire, which is the Second Death (Mathew 25:46, Rev. 19:20, 20:11-15, 21:8).
16. The New Heaven and the New Earth – We, accordingly to His promise, look forward to the perfect New Heavens and a New Earth wherein will dwell all people who have accepted Him. We will live and dwell with the Lord there forever following His millennial reign of Earth (2 Peter 3:13, Rev. 21:1).
