January 2001......
Enrolment Day was held in the school premises. Exhibitions and
demonstrations on foot drill, team test as well as stretcher drill
were carried out to attend new members. Fortunately, there were
about 120 new members recruited our society.
March 2001......
At the Annual State First Aid & Nursing Competition, our divisions'
representatives emerge as Champion in the Ambulance Adult Category.
Mas. Lew King Yon from AC3 (B) and Mas. Loh Boon Hun from A1 won the
Best Written Prize. Mas. Loh
Boon Hun
managed to obtain the Best Leader prize as well.
April 2001......
The 16th Penang Inter-School First Aid Quiz Competition was held in
our school hall on the 29th of April. Our school representatives won
the Overall Champion and the "Kwong Hwa" trophy. Our school’s
participating team was led by Mas. Ooi Say Leong
In the same month, our school’s Ambulance Adult State
Representatives went to compete in the 43rd National First Aid &
Home Nursing Competition. They won the Short Case Champion and
turned out to be the National Ambulance Adult Category Overall
Champion. This was the first time our divisions, representative
acquired the overall champion for the Ambulance Adult category in
the National First Aid & Home Nursing Competition. Our school’s
Ambulance Adult representative was led Mas. Loh Boon Hun

Our school’s Ambulance Adult national representative was led by Mas.
Loh Boon Hun went to compete in the 23rd
Singapore-Malaysia First Aid & Home Nursing Competition at Dunmen
High School, Singapore. They manage to acquire the overall champion
for the Ambulance Adult Category in the competition. This was the
first time our divisions’ representatives acquired the overall
champion for the ambulance Adult category in the Singapore-Malaysia
First Aid & Home Nursing Competition.
11th September 2001
Our division sent 2 squads to compete in the Phor Tay High School
Foot drill Competition at Phor Tay High School. Our representatives
from Team A, led by Mas. Loh Chang Aik emerged as the overall
champion and champion for the male category. Mas. Loh Chang Aik also
won the Best Leader Prize. Meanwhile, Team B won the male category 2nd
Runner-up. Team B was led by Mas. Lee Jing Wei
12th November 2001
A Telematch was successfully held at Penang Youth Park. It was
organized by our division with the help from other secondary
schools’ first aid society
December
2001
The 2001
N.C.O.’s Training Course, which lasts for 4 days 3 nights, was
successfully held from 5th to 8th December
2001. The total number of participate in the training course was 55
person. Activities held including competitions, lectures, test,
games, outing and others.
January
2002
The 2002
Annual Enrolment Day was held on the 12th of January
2002. We were able to recruit 69 new members and 289 old members
On the same
day, 2 squads were sent to compete in the 2002 Union High School
Foot drill Competition at Union High School. Our representatives
from Team A, led by Mas. Goh Kar Hoei won the male category 1st
Runner-up. 35 members attend the Union High School St John Ambulance
Divisions NC2 & N21 Gathering at Union High School’s school Hall,
which was held after the Foot drill Competition
February
2002
On the 9th
of February 2002, our divisions sent 25 members to participate in
the Chung Ling High School’s Leo Club Gathering at Chung Ling High
School’s school hall. We were able to grab hold of the Best Item
prize
On the 27th
of February 2002, our division sent90 members to attend the Han
Chiang High School St John Ambulance Divisions AC1 & NC3 Campfire at
Han Chiang High School’s school field. We presented an item but
failed to win any prizes
March 2002
On the 10th
of March 2002, 1 squad Ambulance Adult Team and 2 squad Ambulance
Cadet Teams were sent to compete in
2002 State
First Aid & Home Nursing Competition which at Penang St John
Ambulance Headquarters. Ambulance Adult Team, led by Mas. Tan Teik
Kean, emerged as Overall Champion, while Mas. Ooi Say Leong won the
Best Individual Award.
In the
Ambulance Cadet category, Team A led by Mas. Choo Fook Sin won 2nd
Runner-up while Mas. Tan Chin Chean from Team B won the Best
Individual Award.
April 2002
The 17th
Interschool Kwong Wah Cup First Aid Quiz was successfully held on
the 13th of April 2002 in Chung Ling High School’s school
hall. 13 teams from 10 schools participate in this competition. The
champion of the competition was Penang Free School, while first
runner-up goes to Penang Chinese Girl School and second runner-up
goes to Union High School
Our divisions
send 1 squad Ambulance Adult Team to compete in the 2002 National
First Aid & Home Nursing Competition. The competition was held from
27- 28 April 2002 at PULAPOL. The team, led by Mas. Tan Teik Kean,
managed to emerge as the Team test Short Case Competition Champion
and the Foot drill Competition 2nd Runner-up. Meanwhile,
Mas. Ooi Say Leong also won the Best Individual 1st
Runner-up award.
Jun 2002
The division’s
campfire was held successfully on the 3rd of Jun 2002.
About 500 participants representing 30 organizations from 20 schools
plus 200 more individuals turned up for this campfire. Below are the

The divisions’
18th Annual General Meeting was held on the June 29,
Saturday at our school canteen, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Our teacher
advisor, Mr. Ong Chin Hwa, officially dissolved the 18th
Central Executive Council. After that, Mr. Ong Chin Hwa announced
the new rank holder and 19th Central Executive Council
post holder
July 2002
On 20th
& 21st July 2002 was the St John Annual Flag Day that
held by St John Headquarter. We won the Best Collection in the Flag
Day. The attendance and discipline of the members on that day was
good. All the running of that day was run smoothly
November
2002
N.C.O.’s
Training Course Intensive Training was started on 1st
November 2002. There are 8 groups in this year. Members were
required to attend the 3 week intensive training
course before the N.C.O.’s 4 days 2 nights Training Course. In this
3 week, the members need to train Team test, Foot drill, Stretcher
drill and First Aid

The N.C.O.’s
Training Course was started. In this Training Course, many
activities were organized, for example competition, lecture, games,
test, outing and others
On 28th
and 29th of this month, our divisions have sent 2 teams
to participate in Heng Ee High School Foot drill & Team test
Competition. Our representative Team A, led by Mas. Lim Han Bin won
Male category Foot drill Competition Champion, Male category Team
test champion, Overall Best Foot drill, Overall Best Team test,
Overall Champion and Best Leader. Team B was led by Mas. Goh Kar
Hoei won Male category Foot drill 1st runner-up, Male
Category Team test 1st Runner-up. Besides that a foot
drills squad which consists of 15 members, led by Mas. Goh Kar Hoei
won the champion for Foot drill Competition (15 members) and Mas.
Goh Kar Hoei won the Best Commander prize

The 2003
Annual Enrolment Day was held on the 11th of this month.
Our performance on that day was managed attracted a lot of people to
come and visited our based at Form 4 block
On 15th
of the January 2003, we enroll the new members in the school hall.
But unfortunately, we only managed enroll 52 members, 49 Form 1
members and 2 Form 2 members
On 29th
of this month, we went to Old Folk’s Home for service

The 2nd
weekly meeting was held at 8th of February 2003 and the
entire running was carried out successfully

The Cadet
Training day & Recruit Training Day held on 15th February

February 2003 was our school annual duty, Cross Country Run. This
duty was successfully performed
March 2003
The St Joseph
Service on 1st March 2003 was run smoothly
On 2nd
of March was the Annual State First Aid & Home Nursing Competition
at St John Headquarter, Penang. Our representative for the Ambulance
Adult category, led by Mas. Ng Khim Seong won Ambulance Adult
Overall Champion and Mas. Ng Khim Seong also won Best Leader &
Individual. In Ambulance Cadet Category, Team A led by Mas. Lee Jing
Wei won the Ambulance Cadet Champion and Best Leader and Team B led
by Mas. Goh Kar Hoei won 1st runner-up.
8th
of the month is the Interschool First Aid Quiz written test. All the
participants from various schools attend and took part in this test
29th
and 30th of March 2003, our division sent 2 teams to
compete in the National First Aid & Home Nursing Competition. The
Ambulance Adult Team, led by Mas. Ng Khim Seong managed to win the
Ambulance adult Short Case Champion, Ambulance Adult Long Case 1st
runner-up, Ambulance Adult 2nd Runner-up. The Ambulance
Cadet Team, led by Mas. Lee Jing Wei won Ambulance Cadet Long Case 1st
runner-up.
April 2003
Interschool
First Aid Quiz Oral Test - Kwang Wah Yit Poh Cup was holding on 19th
April 2003. Team A from our divisions which led by Mas. Ho Khee
Hoong won the 1st Runner-up and Team B which led by Mas.
Loo Khang Ning won the Champion.
May 2003
On 31st
May until 2nd June was the Annual Chung Ling First Aiders
Brotherhood Training Camp. This year this training camp was held in
Chung Ling Butterworth
June 2003
Annual
Anniversary was held in Chung Ling High School’s school hall on the
6th June 2003. There were 334 people attend our
anniversary which from various schools and societies.
On 14th
June 2003, the 19th Annual General Meeting was held in
our school hall. Mr. Ong Chin Hwa officially dissolved the 19th
Central Executive Council and announced the new rank holder and 20th
Central executive Council
The Annual
Flag Days were held on 28th & 29th of this
month. The attendance of the members was not so good but the
collection of this year was better than last year
November
2003
The N.C.O.’s
Training Course was started on the 10th of November. This
time training course was consisted of 9 groups. All the participants
were required to train foot drill, team test and stretch drill in
the week’s intensive training before taking part in the competitions
held in the 4 days 3 nights training camp.
December
2003
Our divisions’
representatives won the Overall 1st Runner-up in the
Annual Inter Unit Competition, organized by the Penang Free School.
Besides wining this, the participants also grabbed the 1st
Runner-up in Practical Competition and 2nd Runner-up in
Team test Competition. The representative team was led by Mas. Lim
Han Bin.
