Message From Leo President 2004-2005
Greeting to All Leo Members & Lions,
It was being a great presidential year for me in this fiscal year. Our club had been the most active Leo Club in Penang (Region 1). Our club is a family of 121 members. On membership, we have a net gain of 66.7%. It is a very good and proud achievement for our club.
For the future of the Chung Ling Leo Club, we need to build a solid foundation of good leadership. We feel that not only correct decisions are reached by those occupying positions of leadership, they must also able to inspire their fellow members to give ever more generously of their time and talents to Leo Activities.
In the world, only Lions Club International provide opportunity for the youth to participate in the community service, youth programme from school till the end of our life. I hope that the Leo members will continue their Leo movement by joining the omega Leo Clubs. For Chung Ling Leo, I wish that you all will automatically join Leo Club of Penang City (our sister club) and continue to serve the community. Besides, Leos enjoy themselves when doing projects. Like our L-E-O means LETS ENJOY OURSELVES.
In this fiscal year, I had learnt a lot of precious things. As a good club, the members must work in unity. So, I hope the Incoming President Teoh Shaw Jhee, Board of Directors and members could work together and achieve the TOP Club award next year. I believe you all can do it. ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE. We are ONE in a family.
Last but not least, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my Faculty Advisor, Miss Teh Phaik Keow, Miss Teow Nee Sien, School Principal, Mr. Sim Jin Tang, Mr. Cheah Kok Kheng, Sponsoring Club President, Lion Lee Boon Chin, Leo Advisor, Lion Teh Ewe Seong, Region 1 RSC for Youth, Lion Ong Lai Peng, District Chairperson for Leo Clubs, Lion Oeh Eng Soon and the "VIP" in my club- Board of Directors and my fellow members. Without their support, our club will not have excellent achievement today. All the best my fellow Leos!! ROAR!! ROAR!! ROAR!! Lions Spirit forever...
Leo Vincent Khor Wei Sheng
TOP Leo President 2004-2005
..INTRODUCTION..
In 1967, The International Association of Lions Club officially approved the Leo Club Program for young men and women of all races and creeds. The LEO CLUB of Chung Ling High School (Penang) was formed on year 1999 under the sponsorship of the Lions Club of Penang (Host). It is under Region 1, Zone 1 of District 308-B2.
.. What is Leo Club?..
Leo Clubs are comprised of young men and women, ages 12 and 28, who are dedicated to making a difference in their community. Sponsored by a Lions Club, each Leo Club elects its own officers, schedules its own meeting, and selects its own fundraisers and service project.
Popular local service initiatives include: drug abuse prevention, educational assistance, community improvement,

The international scope of Leo Clubs allow members to experience and enjoy meeting other from different cultures through activities such as Club Twinning, Youth Exchange and International Youth Camps.
