Margaret's Old News

Margaret left TVB at the end of September 2001 so that she can decide on what to do next for her future. The media first said that she finally saved up her long-time goal of $2,500,000 HKD to open a coffee shop, but then later they said she didn't or that Margaret clarified that she didn't. So I'm a bit confused on that part. Anyway, she went back to Toronto for vacation to relax, but also partly to check out a bit of info on opening a coffee shop there. She returned to Hong Kong in mid-January 2002.
Eventually, Margaret chose to go back to acting at TVB again. Of course, this means more Margaret for us to watch! =) Margaret returned to TVB on April 1st and is now already filming two series at once. Margaret says that the new contract is similar to her past contacts, but this time, it's more flexible and she can actually choose her own projects. However, she is still set on opening that coffee shop in Toronto someday.
One of Margaret's new series is "Hak Yeh Choi Hung" (Dark Night Rainbow) with Ada Choi, Lawrence Ng, and Gigi Lai. Margaret will play a local bad girl and will have relationships with many characters. Her other series is "Chung Seung Wun Siu" (Soaring to the Sky) with Francis Ng, Flora Chan, and Joe Ma. Not sure exactly what Margaret will play, but the series is about airplanes and the crew, so most likely, Margaret will play the part of "the crew". Further confirmation that Margaret will play "the crew" is a clip in K-100 where Margaret is being trained in airplane crew practices.
In other news, Margaret is studying Business by correspondance in a university. She says that hopefully, after finishing the program, she'll be more aware of how to handle a business (her coffee shop) and not get cheated.
