| ~The Part of Me I Never Had 33~ |
| Wow JC. This place looks amazing! I complimented. We had flown to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We had rented out a little beach house. Of course, it wasnt so little. It was the size of an average one-story house. We put the bags on the floor. I was sitting on JCs lap, looking around the house. I knew youd like it, JC said, putting his arms around my waist. Then he started kissing my neck. JC Were married, Jessie. Ive waited long enough *************************************************************************** Jessie? Hmm? I continued to draw lazy shapes across his bare chest. Had fun? Ooh yeah. His arm went up and down my bare back and side. I was rocked to sleep by the beating of his heart. *************************************************************************** The next 2 weeks blazed by so quickly. Before I knew it, I was on a flight home to Orlando. And home to the guys. I sat patiently in a seat on the plane, trying wait out the rest of the flight. I dont know why, but I was looking through an issue of J-14. Then I stopped abruptly on one page. JC? I said nervously. What is it Beauty? he asked. Look at this, I said, pointing to a picture on the page. His eyes widened. Thats us. On our wedding day, I finished for him. How did they get it? he asked. I dont know. I just hope this doesnt hurt your reputation, I said quietly so no one could hear. I dont care if the world knows or not. I am married to the most wonderful woman I have ever met. And if they dont like it, they arent the true fans I thought they were. I smiled and kissed him softly on the cheek. *************************************************************************** JJ! I turned to the direction of the voice. Then I ran toward him. I hugged him tightly. He hugged me back. I missed you, I whispered. I missed you too JJ, Justin whispered back. Then I turned and hugged Lance. Hey Lance. Hey Jessie. Had fun? The best. Then I hugged Chris. Hey. Done anything exciting while we were gone? Not much. But I bet you did, he snickered. I hit him in the arm and hugged Joey. Wassup Joey? Nothing much. I can only guess what you 2 did down there. I narrowed my eyes at a laughing Joey. Then I hugged Keith. Hey Keith. Hey Jessie. Or should I say, Mrs. Chasez? he teased. I smiled. Then turned to Michael. Hey Mikey. Wassup Jessie? In the words of Heather, enough of this Hug-a-Thon, we gotta go! Lance shouted. I laughed and followed them out of the terminal and out of the airport. To home. *************************************************************************** I clicked on the icon labeled, AOL and logged on. Youve Got Mail. I clicked the mailbox and scrolled down the long list, reading the titles, looking for the ones that were worth reading. I stopped at a subject called; Ill get you if you dont let my Josh go! I clicked on it and read it cautiously. Dear you tramp, I was getting a bad vibe already. Even if he married you, Ill get him back! And thats a promise! So dont even try to fight me. I will win. Let my Josh go and Ill let you off the hook. If you dont, watch out. Some accidents are bound to happen JCs eternal lover$@ I got very nervous. But what if it was a prank? I thought feverishly. But what if it isnt? What accidents? But I knew I had to tell JC. JC!!!!! I called out. What is it? he yelled back from the living room downstairs. Get up here quick! I could hear his footsteps pounding up the stairs. What is it Beauty? he asked. Come here, I said, gesturing him to sit down next to me. What? he asked again as he sat down. I pulled the cover of the laptop up for him to read. The pupils of his eyes moved left and right as he read the vicious email. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Oh my god. Jessie we have to do something. It might be serious, he said sternly. I dont want anything to happen to you. So you have no idea who this is? I asked nervously, slowly turning into panic. He shook his head. The panic turned to fear. What if we write back? I suggested, frightened. You can try he said reluctantly. But tell me if she writes anything else back ok? I nodded as I began to type: Dear mystery girl~ I have no idea who you are, but Im sure he doesnt know you. So dont try anything you might regret. Im not threatening, Im just warning you. You could end up in jail Mrs. Chasez I clicked send and looked through the rest of my mail. Then I found one saying, watch out! Read for more info. Really important! I clicked on the email. Dear JCs wife I have written to warn you. I know someone who sent a threat to you and I am telling you- do not mess with her! She is very pissed and wants to get revenge. Watch out! And be under and on guard at all times. Its for your own good. Respond ASAP so I can sleep knowing youll be safe Angel I was genuinely surprised. This was one of very few nice emails she got. But I was also scared. She wants to get revenge JC!!! I called frantically. I heard his footsteps again going up the stairs. What is it now? I beckoned him to sit down again. Another email? I nodded and pulled up the screen. He read it as fast as he could, his eyes, I could tell, were confused, angry, and scared. Revenge? he asked himself. Who would want to get- he stopped. What? I asked him frighteningly. Sondra What? Its her Who? He sat down on the bed, looking into space. Oh no I shook his shoulders violently and shouted, WHAT AND WHO ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! His face snapped awake. I think I know who it is Who? Her name is Sondra. I used to go out with hershe was so angry when I broke up with hershe said shed get revenge, but I never took it seriouslynow I see it he whispered, barely audible. Tears were forming in my eyes. Why does she want to hurt me? I asked, mostly to myself as I sunk to my knees. JC held me and said strongly, I wont let her hurt you. I almost lost you once, and I dont want to lose you again. Ill protect you. A few tears escaped when I blinked, but no others came. Thanks JC. *************************************************************************** I sat silently, waiting for the others to finish reading the 2 emails. My godJessiethis can be dangerous Lance warned as he read the 1st one. Then he read the second one out loud to the others. When he was done, their eyes were wide. Revenge? Chris questioned. This can be bad. I agree with Chris, Justin agreed. Rage can do things to you. If I were you, Id watch out The tears were coming again. Dont scare her even more you guys, JC interrupted. Well just keep her under close watch, Joey suggested. You know, with Mike and Derek. Good idea! JC agreed. And then at least one of us would be would with her at all times. They nodded in agreement. I guess thatll work I agreed reluctantly. *************************************************************************** I wrote back to Angel asking her for more information. She wrote back 2 days later Dear Jessica~ She mentioned trying to hurt you by having you break your bones. She said shed have to help it along a little. She also mentioned coming after you and do something to you. I think youd better watch out Angel Of course, I told JC and the rest of the guys, including Keith and Michael. Keith, like JC, was extremely worried. Why cant we just trace back the email? I asked, feeling stupid that I didnt think of it before. DUH! Joey and Chris said simultaneously. Chris made a motion of slapping his forehead. We can do that right Lance? Justin asked. Thats possible, but we dont know how to do it, he said disappointingly. We could go to this one website! I exclaimed. I rushed to the computer, but before I could click a button, the laptop said, Youve got mail! I clicked the mailbox, feeling everyones eyes on me. The new message was from Sondra. I read it. Tramp~ Youre saying I should just give up? Not happening. I want my Josh back, and Ill get himno matter what it takes $@ OHMYGOD! Keith cried out. That dirty bitch! Stop Keith. Youre not making this any easier, I said softly. I was actually scared to death. They had all finally read it. I could hear murmurs of comments, none of them too good. Clicking on the box, I typed in an address. Jessie, this is not a time to be surfing the web, Chris said scoldingly. Im not surfing. Im getting info, I said, waiting for the page to load. Cyber Angels? JC read skeptically. Whats that? They help people, I stated simply. I typed in my problem and it was sent to an Angel I got a response quickly. The message read, We can try to trace the email, dont worry, youre in safe handsrememberyoure not alone J Angel Thats comforting, Chris commented. Yeah. It is, I replied. ************************************************************************* A week later, I got another email from the cyber angel. It read: Jessica, we have traced your email and it appears to be from a woman named Sondra Williams. We have notified her of your contact with us, and hopefully she will stop threatening you. Contact me again if any more threats come. J Angel We sat down and listened to Lance read the email. It is her. I cant believe this, JC moaned, running his hands distraughtly through his dark hair. We cant either. This is just mad! Keith said, while pacing around the room. Just calm down Keith, Michael said restlessly from his position on the couch. Calm down? Gosh you sure are taking this pretty lightly Mikey, Keith responded, continuing to pace. Im just as worried as you are Keith, its just that I dont think we are going to get anything solved by wearing a hole in the carpet, Michael shot back. He sat down Indian style with his head in his hands. Now that weve got that settled, Lance interrupted. We should get some information. I agree, Justin agreed. JC, what can you tell us about this Sondra person? He looked up from the floor. Very, very possessive. Very athletic and coordinated, he started. Shes also very strategic. Very logical. Damn. Thats gonna be tough to fight against, Joey said. I thought you were the optimistic one Joe, I said. He just shrugged. She can plan her attack out. And she can do a lot of fancy footwork, Lance concluded. I groaned. This wasnt gonna be easy. Its ok Jess. Well protect you, JC said assuringly. I hope, I mumbled. |
