| ~The Part of Me I Never Had 32~ |
| I wiped my sweaty palms off my white gown. I was so nervous. Stop worrying! Itll be fine! my mom assured me. It didnt do much at all. I was as nervous as I had been when I- forget it. I was never this nervous. I was pacing around the room wringing my hands nervously. Stop it! Your heels will be worn down by the time you get done pacing! my mom cried. I forced myself to stop and looked at the clock. The ceremony was going to begin in 15 minutes. The door cracked open. Jessie? I sighed. Come in you guys. Lance, Justin, Chris, and Joey came in, looking extravagant in their suits. You look great JJ! Justin complimented, hugging me. Thanks Justy. I needed that. I couldve told you that! my mom exclaimed. When my parents met JC, they took an instant liking to him. It was what they wanted. A responsible, kind, caring, smart, loving man. I hugged the other guys in turn. Man, you look as nervous as JC! Joey commented. He cant possibly be as nervous as I am, I said. I wiped my palms off again. Oh yes he can, and he is. He is going around and shouting, Come on people! This is off alignment, this is all wrong, yaddy yaddy ya, Chris explained, laughing. I smiled. I guess hes a tad more nervous than I am. A tad?! Hes a mad man! Chris exclaimed, causing me to laugh. Oh man. The ceremony starts in 5. Lets go guys, I said nervously as I headed toward the door. Wait! I spun around. What Lance? Your veil, he said as he put it on my head. Thanks Lance. Now lets go, I said hurriedly as we went through the door. I looked around at the decorations. We had reserved the most private place we could find. There were white and red rose chains creeping around every column, fence, and anything else clingable and loopable. I had the same flowers in my bouquet. The chairs were set up very accurately and the weather was perfect. I looked at my Maids of Honor. They looked so nice in their dresses. Hearing the music start, I started down the aisle. *************************************************************************** Do you, Jessica, take JC as your lawfully wedded husband? asked the priest. I couldnt believe he was still looking at the book. I had thought he wouldve memorized it by now. I do, I said softly, but loud enough for the people to hear. My mom and some of my friends were in tears. Do you, JC, take Jessica as your lawfully wedded wife? I do, he said just as softly. Then with the power invested in me, I announce you, husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride. He slipped his arms around my waist as I put my arms around his neck. He bent his head down and our lips touched. We kissed passionately. I could hear and see flashes going off. We parted and held hands while walking the aisle. There was a limo waiting for us just outside the doors. I waved as we got inside. We sat down, extremely happy. He hugged me tight, and whispered, Happy Valentines Day Jessie. Happy Valentines Day JC. |
