Due to the number of people who are (at least remotely) interested in my stay in Europe, instead of writing numerous lengthy emails or (worse) copying and pasting sections of emails, I will post my European encounters here. I will leave out the technical details of my work at the nuclear fission reactor and neutron scattering experiments, unless for some reason you are interested in this aspect as well.

Note: Links unavailable now will hopefully turn blue within the next few weeks. In this makeshift site, I have granted myself permission to plagiarise my OMT pages--the page layout, CSS styling, etc., as some of you may notice, have come unchanged. And sorry for the lack of links from subsidiary pages back to the index page and other points of poor design--and the generally annoying ad window.
