Real name-- Jessica James (though her birth name is unknown, she was given this name at her adoption by JAG Capt. Criss James when she was aprox. 8yrs)
Description-- India/Caucasian heritage; 5'3", aprox. 112lbs, black hair (varies in length depending on her mood), sharp green eyes, petit, yet strong, fierce. Only knows how to fight, doesn't always understand anything else.
Education-- Degrees in Zoology, Veterinary Sciences, and Environmental Sciences.

About Knuckles-- Found, wounded, wandering the war ravaged streets of a, India town as a toddler. Her Caucasian attributes (round, green eyes, paler skin tone...) and location marked her as a hated "scheduled castes" (untouchables). As such, she would of been abused, even killed in any India Orphanage. Thus, the Red Cross workers who found her let her wander at the hospital, where she was basically left to fend for herself, safe from abuse, but otherwise ignored.
Given her nickname after, while investigating aid to India indigents, Navy JAG Captain Criss James and his crack shot team of investigators, quite literally, stumbled upon an 8yr old girl, barefoot and unkempt. Capt James asked her her name, and she answered, with tiny fists held before her, "All ya ever gonna get framilar with is knuckles!" Capt. James adopted her and, now with daughter, returned to his home office in San Francisco.
At 9yrs, Knuckles started her Education. Within 5yrs, she went from a first grade Education to graduating with honors. Though never officially tested, the theory behind her rabid excel through school was an apparent photographic memory. 14yrs old and searching for a direction in life, she studied at varies disciplines, including psychology, criminology, and martial arts. Though she always preferred working with animals rather than humans, earning degrees in zoology, Veterinary sciences, and Environmental sciences
But she abandoned her life at 17yrs old when Capt. Criss James was tortured to death by the Lady Oran de Nathair of the Uilc Dochas Clan (though she never spoke of it in details, there is some concern that Knuckles had been witnessed to some extent of her father's murder). Knuckles went from student to vengeance seeking bounty hunter. For 4yrs she hunted down members of the Uilc Dochas Clan, gathering about her friends and colleagues of her father's on a like mission who came to be known as "The Jessie James' Gang." When the Clan seemed to simply vanish out of sight, Knuckles settled at the last known location of the Clan, New York, and, using the money earned in the bounties, she built the Jessie James' Club. She spent the next 3yrs running her club, hunting bounties, and putting her Education to work on occasion at varies zoos and animal rescues.
She plays violin/fiddel, cello (and, yes, one can rock on a cello), and clarinet. Has a soft, pretty singing voice, though she seems to lose it when ever someone other than Perfect Tommy or New Jersey are listening, except for one song she sings once a year at the Jessie James' Club's New Year's celebration.
Knuckles falls in love with Perfect Tommy, and vise versa, though neither fully understands nor puts name to the feelings they have for one another.

Little known detail-- Knuckles is claustrophobic, to the point of panic attacks in extreme cases. She doesn't know why, just always been that way.. Rawhide theorized that it might have to do with why and/or how she was orphaned.
