In the course of her many professions (among others, bounty hunter and owner of the Jessie James' Club), Jessica James, a.k.a. Knuckles, has employed/partnered/befriended a number of highly skilled individuals. Some of these come together to form the Jessie James Gang, a highly skilled, highly motivated, and unbelievably loyal bounty hunting team under the leadership of Knuckles.

Lt. Gage Knickles:
Mid 40s', tall, broad, neat. Short tan hair, brown eyes.
Head bouncer of the Jessie James Club, helicopter pilot, and Knuckles' no-nonsense right hand man. He runs the Club when Knuckles is out "on the hunt" and has been known to come to the rescue when she and her bounty are in need of a pick up or a little aerial distraction.
Served under Captain James as an investigator and, unofficially, the strong arm of the JAG office. When Captain James was murdered, he took it upon himself to keep an eye on his daughter.
A bigger task than he had originally thought (he was grateful when Banzai and Perfect Tommy took an interest in Knuckles well being).
Has a wife and twin daughters which he spends far too little time with. His biggest difficulty in life is trying to be there for his family (alive and healthy), while trying to keep Knuckles alive. Encouraged her to join the HKC, if for no other reason, so as to give him a break.

The Duncans:
Short, stocky, strong, sun tanned, dark haired (brown to black), dark eyes
Brice, Galen, Morgan, and Ryanne Duncan are the last direct descendants of the first kings of Scotland who overthrew the druids the first time several hundred years back. As such, these four siblings hold the same standing to the Celtics as the Lords and Ladies of the Uilc Dochas Clan, thus a threat to the Clan's power. Since the beginning the two clans have hunted each other: Uilc Dochas to wipe out the only true threat (in their eyes) to their power; The Duncans to free their brethren from the evil enslavement of the druids.
Captain James first became aware of the Uilc Dochas Clan while investigating an attempt on Brice Duncan's life (who, at the time, was a Marine and a Vietnam vet). Recognizing the Duncans as a fierce weapon against the Clan, James swore to protect them. Upon his death, they retreated deep into the California redwoods where they grew up, waiting for an opportunity when they can strike back at the Uilc Dochas Clan and destroy it.
The three elders, Brice, Galen and Morgan , being master trackers and survivalists, have proved invaluable in hunting down bounties who have seeked refuge in the wilderness. Ryanne, the youngest be 10 yrs, a school mate of Knuckles in zoology, is the co-trainer of Knuckles' animals. She is kept safe by her overprotective, stone hearted older siblings. Brice, Galen, and Morgan each had families and/or lives which their enemies had torn away from them. Now they dedicate themselves wholly to the task of making sure Ryanne never goes through the anguish they have.
A goal made even more difficult when Ryanne falls aggressively for the shy, gentle HKC New Jersey.

"Tink" Rolands:
mid 30's, born Pensicola, Fl. thin, appears child-like, shaggy, unkempt blond hair, blue eyes,
Bred, born, raised Navy. Was moving up through the ranks fast when, on a SEALS mission, "something horrible happened" that totally screwed him up. Charged with war crimes as a result, he was represented by Captain James. Though cleared of all charges, Tink was mentally scarred with continues jitters. Knowing the secret behind his fears, Captain James took him under his protective wing, putting him to work as the head computer investigator for JAG. When her father died, Knuckles found Tink hiding in his studio apartment, too afraid to even leave his dwelling. Thus, she took up where her father left off, protecting him and giving him a reason to dare the outside world as her tech man.
Arrogant in his amazing abilities with just about any tech, though easily distracted by nearly any new computer game. Writes his journal in computer basic (1001101...). also designed the tracking components Knuckles uses in the field.

Master Sergeant Kay Quint "Kay-Q":
"A mountain of a man," though not overly tall, thick with muscles and power, blond military cut, hard blue eyes, continouse parade stance, gentle, big smile
The typical "big teddy bear that just loves to cuddle" Kay-Q faced charges when his commanding officer tried to force him to fight after he registered as a cooperative objector. Captain James saved him by putting him to work as a clerk in the JAG office. When the Captain was murdered, Kay-Q left the military and, partnered with Skunk Mackenzie, became a bounty hunter. Apparently the brutal murder of his protector was enough to bring out his violent side.

Lt. Commander Skunk Mackenzie:
skinny, short, weasel like, and, yes, Skunk is his actual name (apprently his parents smoke a lot of weed)
Skunk served as a JAG laywer with Captain James. Self serving, greedy, Arrogant, unmoral, and unhonorable, Skunk made an excellent lawyer... as well as thief (though he would call it supply procurement). Being of Scottish decent, the Uilc Dochas Clan tried to recruit him, but they made the mistake of trying to bribe him with honor rather than money. Skunk turned them down at once, which made him a target. The Clan does not suffer any Celtic that is not under their control.
Again, Captain James came onto the scene just in time to save Skunk's life, and Skunk made it a habit to stay close ever since. In doing so, he discovered something he learned to treasure even more than money: friendship.... closely followed by revenge after the Captain was murdered.
