What can you say about Monday's? Tired. Too tired. Hit snooze a half dozen times. Woke up, showered, dressed. Hair still wet. Bummer.
Got to work to find out they need me to work late. Wonderful!! And I just wanted to sleep. But that wasn't to be. Did get to sleep at night though, about halfway through the Packers game. Talk about a boring Preseason game. I know they aren't supposed to be exciting, but whew, it was slow. Didn't like seeing Vonnie sack Brett on the first drop back. That wasn't cool. Did like seeing Nick Barnett look like he knew what he was doing, and where did Marcus Wilkins come from? He wasn't so noticable last year. Nice to see him making plays. Always nice to see linebackers doing that for the Pack, since it's so rare.
Wesley Walls is coming here??? Can you say Mark Chmura-Keith Jackson?? This could be a great thing. Tandem pro-bowl tight ends. I think we went to a Superbowl or two last time this happened.
And Ricky Weeks is close to signing for the Brewers now. Just in time to get paid for the 2003 season. Nice. Too bad he didn't sign earlier. He might have made the Arizona Fall League, and then be invited to Spring Training. As it is, that might not be happening for him. Then again, he wanted them to "show him the money!"
Yes, I have been watching Jerry Maguire the last few days.
Watched the end of a movie with Matthew Modine, James Caan, and Chasing Amy (great movie!!) star Joey Lauren-Adams. Ever do that? On HBO or whatever, then wish you'd seen the rest. Can't remember the name! If anyone knows what I'm talking about please tell me the name of this movie. I really want to see the rest of it.
Speaking of movies, I'd like to see Cider House Rules again too. I liked that movie a lot.
