Here we are, up to date, mostly.  Looking at life on Wednesday.  Anything interesting??

Hmmm, got outdone on a job I applied for.  But that's ok.  I was probably overqualified.  Of course!  Work was pretty normal, boring nothing exciting, la di da.  Talked with Karla a bit, bowled a bit.  Caught up on some insurance related things that had piled up in Financial Services.  Too bad they don't do their own job.   Then again, I need more to do really.

Left work, got out to Waukesha in 10 minutes, then stuck in traffic for and hour and a half.  An accident between a dumptruck, two semis and to cars.  The dumptruck was going east and had a tire blow, smashed through the barrier into the westbound lanes, hit a semi, which hit another semi.  Two people killed and the highway shut down for 5 hours.  At least.  A big mess.   And a big scare too.  Watch out for dump trucks I guess.

Mom suggested I run to McDonalds, but only gave me $5, then gave me $20 for toilet paper.  I spent the $20 on dinner, and the $5 on toilet paper instead.  Made more sense to me that way.  She wanted me to take her to Sam's Club and Sears, but I left while she was still talking to do my own shopping.

Got back, and helped rearrange her worktable.  Well, piled a bunch of boxes on it.  She's allergic to her new desk.  Or crazy.  One or the other.

Brewers were rained out, so I watched Anaconda.  Some of the acting in the movie was just amazing.  Especially the snake!  I can't really believe that Jennifer Lopez was in that, and is still considered a good actress.  Some roles should just finish you for good.

Then again, I watched the whole thing, so who knows.

In sports, the Brewers seemed to have a good draft through the early rounds.  Picking #2 helps with that a lot.  Hope they can sign their picks, and quickly.  Would be a great help in the near future, I'd think.

Packers Minicamp is this week too, so there is a lot of Packers news and pictures out there.  This is a good thing.  Makes the season seem just a little closer.  Yesterday the team went bowling.  That, I would have liked to have been a spectator for!

Until tomorrow!
