| Sooo, Tuesday was the first workday of the week and it was a long one. Boring, except for one little sidenote. Was told by the same crazy co-worker that everyone tried to get fired recently that she feels that I should be made the departments supervisor. And that she was going to bring it up to the higher ups. That would make me administration here. Which would be a very good thing, I think. Well, I know, actually. But the likelihood is small considering we already have an area supervisor. Nice compliment to hear though. Around the time I got home, I got a weird phone call from some woman that I talked to a long time ago online. She'd looked me up, and left a number to call her. Not sure why I would call her. Talked to K a little, but got really tired of talking. To anyone. Just worn out. Watched the Brewers game, boring boring boring, YEA!! We won! Nothing like getting all the way to the last strike in the 9th and then pulling off two 2 run singles and winning. Beautiful. Wish I'd been there. Fridays game was good and fun, but they lost in the late innings. So it was a bummer. And now, a poem . . . Sometimes in the spring a flower grows unbidden blooming beneath the suns keen eye no one planted it no one care for it it just grew and grew. Love is like that sometimes finding its own way out of nothing and sometimes it is work Pieces slowly falling into place Over time. I look for the flower growing in the hidden places and the love come unbidden to my heart. Open your heart and mind to love and you open it to possibilities Of wonder and beauty Of hurt and pain Either way though, you grow Like the flower . . . C |
