Going through Karla withdrawal already. No cable line for the computer, so no talking in the morning before work, no goodnight when she got home from work Monday. Phone still works, but it isn't free for her.
I called in the morning, missed her and needed a few questions answered. Spoke a little in the afternoon between her shifts, but she was running, of course. Lots of work with her job and with her life. I called again to get final word on whether I am moving my washer and dryer up there or if she is using hers (need help loading them in the truck Thursday night!). Then she was off to work and I was off to the doctor.
The doctor. Agh! A bunch of test is what that amounted to, and some antibiotics to get rid of the new kidney infection I've gotten. My 3rd or 4th of the last year. The tests are to find out why I keep getting them. Hopefully I will get an answer, I am getting truly tired of going through all this.
After the doctor, I waited up a bit hoping K would call before she went to bed, so I could fill her in, but she must have been understandably exhausted from her long day.
Crashed about 10:30.
Writing this I think about things a little. Granted I only left K Monday at about 4, and missed her already the next day, but you try talking to the same person for hours a day, normally for a year, and then go through a period of silence. It's a little unnerving. So, I have to relax and wait a bit. And really, get used to not talking quite so much--once I move there we will talk each night when we see eachother, but the IMing will probably stop. Or drastically slow down at least.
Changes.
Talked to Nathan too--Monday night. He wants to celebrate his birthday this weekend in Menominee. Not going to have a lot of time for it, but we can spare an hour or so, I'd hope. He was funny, he said Karla can bake him a cake. I really love that boy so much. So much of me in him. I didn't get to see him last time because of his mother, but we need to change that soon. Very soon. Get back on track. I will be very happy once the house's bathrooms are both working and the railing and laundry areas are done. Then I can rest for a day or two.
