Grrr, fingers are still sore from working in MI.  Working with plumbing pipe, and breaking up walls and crap makes it hurt when you have to type all day.  Wonder why that is?

Ok, not really.

Monday was a stupid day--worked at the Dental School as the greeter, did very little.  Could've been much more useful in MI working on the house.  I do have a couple of vacation days again, and a sick day or two.  Hmmm.  I should think about taking a day or two next week to extend the weekend, and get a couple more things done.  Manage time a little better too.  Doing the plumbing was such a big job that it really occupied my whole mind, now that that is mostly complete, I can race through the little things pretty quickly, especially with the kids away all weekend, and at school during the week.

Karla suggested I do a journal just about the house, but then this is sort of that anyway.  I can't post pics right now, but trust me when I say the basement looks a lot better than it did with the old boiler and broken water heater down there, all those steam pipes out, most of the old plumbing out.  Shiny new sheet metal and copper in its place.   What's that sound Tim makes on Home Improvement??

Lots to do still though.  Going to have to think about spending the weekend there this coming weekend.  Sleeping there at night I mean.  Save a few hours in the morning that K and I waste slowly getting up and ready.  We'll see though, nothing is for sure.

I am considering kidnapping a friend or two of mine to take with me to work on the place.  I wish I was still friends with Mike, we worked perfectly together since he always listened to my suggestions, lol.  We'd race through that place.  I need to develop a friendship like that again sometime.  Hard to meet those people though, and harder to cultivate a friendship with them.

Baseball is coming soon though, and that is a wonderful thing.  I know, I am the only baseball fan left, but still I love the sport.  Football, baseball, basketball, Nascar.  I'm branching out.  Used to just like baseball and football, but once the Bucks started really losing then I liked them too--remind me of the Brewers.  LOL.
