Here we are again.

Let's see--didn't work on Friday, so I was up in Menominee from Thursday until Monday morning.  Arrived fairly late due to having to drive out to Waukesha and pick up a prescription for my Mom and put up a railing she had taken down to paint, but then lost the energy and couldn't put up again.

Still, managed to watch Phone Booth, with Karla's head on my thigh, and my hand in her hair.  How she stays awake when I do that, I'll never know.

Friday we went out for Breakfast and I had the Farmer's Omelet I mentioned before.  The waitress said I looked like a Farmer's Omelet person.  What does that mean??  Well, last time K had it so she must be one too!!

Watched The Recruit in the afternoon, then I went to a temp agency up there.  I didn't even know they had temp agencies.  Having had a great deal of luck before as a temp, I thought it might be a good thing to try again.  Especially considering the number of references I have from the last place.  The place that got me my current job actually.

Unfortunately, the guy I needed to see wasn't in.  And wouldn't be able to see me until Monday afternoon or Tuesday.  I didn't really know what to do.  K didn't seem to think it was the sure thing that I did, so I decided to come back and work, and call the guy from here.  Maybe set something up for the end of next week, when I can take a couple vacation days or something.

Sweetest day was cool.  I got another Monopoly Game.  One I didn't even know was out.  Lord of the Rings.  Very cool.  Even came with the One Ring, so now I can rule them all!!!   Also, a sweet card from Karla.  I gave her a Cafe Mocha candle, that actually has coffee beans on the side of it, with a brass candle holder; a small oil lamp with flowers and something else in it (not sure what), and my own Sweet, Funny card.  Much better than last year, when she forgot!!

Megan won another Basketball game.  Of course.  She might need to be a little more aggressive, but she does a pretty good job at defense.  Practice, practice, practice.  Funny thing is, at 10 she's better than I am now.  Lol.
