THE DEATH RATTLE

So, here's the story. The day after I had my wisdom teeth out (on 9 March 2001), I developed a sore throat/cough. Eventually, only the cough remained. My friends and I have come to call it, "the death rattle." It will just start out as a regular cough, then move in to a more phlegmy cough, then transform into what becomes more of a bark. It will turn back into a phlegmy cough, and then the death rattle will leave. This is the page where I will try to post daily updates on the death rattle for your entertainment and interest. Try to come back daily, and I'll try to update it daily. Thanks for stopping by!
Thrusday, 29 Mar 2001: The death rattle, I must admit, seems to be getting a little better. This is a bit unfortunate, since I've just set up the page. If one makes me laugh too hard, or if I talk too long without taking a breath, or if I eat something spicy, or if I walk at during a cold night, the death rattle acts up. Improvement, however, is being made.
BUY THIS BOOK! I have no idea what it's about. That's why it's not under the "Book Suggestions" link. I only put it up here because the title has to do with coughing (the theme of this link), and because if you buy books at Amazon.com through my link, then I earn a percentage of your purchase which helps to finance my college education. Thanks for your support! I hope to see you soon! Happy reading!!
Friday, 30 Mar 2001: The death rattle was surprisingly active today! If I were a pregnant woman, I would say something to the effect of, "Yes, the baby was kicking, but CHECK OUT THE DEATH RATTLE!!!" It acted up walking back from the drug store and late tonight when a lot of my friends were over and making me laugh a lot. Like I said, laughing too hard wakes the death rattle.
Saturday, 31 Mar 2001: YIKES! The death rattle was really at it today! I rattled quite a bit when I was walking back to the pharmacy today, and again in a waiting room, which I'm sure concerned some people. My friend Jamie (see Lovely Quotes) thinks that death rattle is self-propogating. Yes, she thinks she, too, has contracted death rattle. I really don't think she does. If she does, though, she could make a cool page, as well. Isn't that great??
Sunday, 1 Apr 2001: Okay, so, I was singing in the choir at morning mass today, as is my usual Catholic custom, when in the middle of mass, death rattle struck. It left me out of commission for a couple of verses. At dinner tonight, I learned that iced cream plus heavy laugher plus cold night air equal DEATH RATTLE!! Oh, well.
Monday, 2 Apr 2001 through Wednesday, 4 April 2001: (Wow! Busy week!!) I'm terribly afraid that I must report that death rattle has remained somewhat stagnant. There is no increase or decrease in death rattle's daily activity. Please protect yourself against death rattle. More info to come when changes occur....
Tuesday, 10 Apr 2001: Okay, that's it. I made an appointment with a doctor AND my oral surgeon within the next two weeks, so hopefully I can have all of this taken care of.... it's not like death rattle is interfering with my life or anything, but it's beginning to be an inconvenience. Argh.
Sunday, 23 Apr 2001: THE DEATH RATTLE IS RELENTING! Hazzah! Thanks, everyone, for seeing me through this one!
