| Okay. I'm reading this book for a sociology class I'm taking called "Sex, Lies and Greed." This book is a true-crime story about a man who lived in Olympia, Washington, working as a police officer. He was accused of sexually abusing his daughters. Did he really abuse them and supress the memory, or did the daughters lie? Why are the daughters' stories inconsistent? Why are this man's co-workers being accused as well? Why does this entire book remind me of Arthur Miller's THE CRUCIBLE? I DON'T KNOW! I'M ONLY HALF-WAY THROUGH THE BOOK! I can't wait to see how it ends, though. I can't put it down! You have to read it! |
